Thanks so much for your reply! My son is right around 105 pounds so he should be fine. I'll let him know about the scale so he's prepared to jump on if asked.

 

I'm sorry your friends' son was just under the weight limit. We sailed on Freedom of the Seas in 2007 when my twins were 8 and they just missed the height cutoff for the Flowrider. They were extremely disappointed so I understand how your friends felt. Hopefully their son will be able to slide as much as he wants on their next Getaway cruise!

from reading your post I am wondering what slides and or activities have height and/or weight restrictions.

this thread just made my morning (as i am drinking my morning coffee). We are leaving on the Getaway on Saturday and am wondering do all balcony rooms have mini coffee pots?

I find it FAR FAR easier just to get the unlimited soda sticker.

that would be the easy thing to do but i only drink Coke (yes I am a soda snob)

hello all I am taking my first NCL cruise on April 5 and am wondering how people pack soda in their suitcases. My concern is it exploding while flying :eek:. Any suggestions and/or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I won't have time to fly to stop on our way to the airport.

Wondering about Characters on the ship and if anybody has done the character breakfast.

Wondering if the bowling is free and if not how much for a game.

hope i can ask this here we are doing our first NCL cruise in two weeks and our kids are not huge soda drinkers and I am wondering if Milk, juice and/or lemonade are free or is there a package to purchase these items.
