  1. We are first time Celebrity cruisers and booked with a TA. Eclipse Exotic southern Caribbean March 2018.

My TA mentioned that shore excursions and beverage package can not be purchase until final payment is made. I'm worried about some tours be sold out by the date of final payment. Is correct this?

5 couples booked with a TA..we signed on to Celebrity and purchased excursions together..

Our final payment is in September..

  2. No. Each is supposed to have his own package and sharing is not allowed. You can only buy one drink at a time to help restrict any possible sharing and if sharing is detected you run the risk of lying sing the entire package for the remainder of the cruise.

Thanks..we are in discussion over which package to get..

  3. Hello everyone, just finished my Caribbean cruise on Sunday. It was a great first cruise. Let me give you my good and bad points:

+ Ship is stunning, absolutely beautiful, well kept and generally fantastic

+ Service was great, caring and professional

+ MDR food was great, very tasty

+ Ship never seemed crowded, there was always somewhere to sit, even loungers on sea day.

+ Cabin (C3) was nicely laid out, large bathroom and kept spotlessly clean by an amazing attendant

+ Boarding and embarkation was smooth at all ports, even tendering was without any lines. Port Everglades was breeze on embarkation and even smoother on disembarkation - had to wait like 5 minutes to get our bags and go through immigration.

    + Live music was great

    - Food in the buffet was slightly lacking. Only cheaper items and no shrimps or seafood

    - Service in Sky Observation Lounge was slow. A shame of this beautiful lounge

    - Bar and Sommelier service at MDR was a bit slow and spotty. Sometimes they forgot orders, sometimes waiters had to track them down to place an order

I will be on my first Celebrity cruise in December..I thank you for the info..getting excited!!:D

  4. About to embark on our first RC cruise..we have enjoyed many Carnival..now we are going with many friends and excited about it..

Looking for any advice?? Is there a site with a deck plan showing the clubs, shops??

Is there an adult only swimming pool??

What nonalcoholic beverages are available at no cost?? (Carnival has juice, hot coffee, hot tea and ice tea)

    Thanks!!

  5. I have an iPhone with AT & T..is there service available on RC? A friend just booked with Princess..they have availability to text someone who is on the ship, able to see your bill, and ship activities..all from your phone..and for free..does RC have anything similar??

  6. We will be taking our first RC cruises and I had questions about dinner atire..does hubby need a suit? Or can he wear sports jacket, slacks, shirt and tie?

Do I need a dress, or are dress pants and blouse enough for formal night?

    Thanks..

  7. Getting ready to book on the Allure of The Seas for August 2016..

This will have been our 2nd RC cruise..our first will be in the winter..

We are looking to book 2 cabins, oceanview..that is not above or below lounges, Lido Deck or anything around noise..rather we prefer cabins above and below us..

    Suggestions??

    Thanks..

  8. The restaurants offer an everyday fare of burgers, salad, fried chicken, chicken breast, mac and cheese..

Then they offer the specials of the day..

Lido deck has burgers, pizza (we tried and like that for lunch) as well as a variety of different foods..this cruise we basically stayed with the restaurants..

Room service is available 24hours at no cost (except for drinks)..I purchased the unlimited soda card..but they don't honor that with room service..so I brought soda back from a bar..Room service has hot and cold sandwiches..salad, (can't remember what else) along with desserts and drinks..

I'm sure they will find something to like..

  9. We are going on Freedom with our 4 and 5 year old who are not swimmers but love to play in the water. Is there a pool where they can stand up and play in the water?

Just got off the Freedom about 5 hours ago..the Adult only pool was 4' 5" deep..not sure but I think the other pool is about the same..

But your young ones should attend camp there..they have their own pool I think
