We took 4 cruises in the past 2 years in the Retreat and loved the experience and service. This year we were looking at Greece, and were shocked to find a 14 day Seabourn Greek island cruise (in a nonrefundable Guarentee cabin) to be the same price as one week in a Sky Suite on the Infinity.
We found an amazing deal, so I know that is not the norm, but I had never really priced Seabourn and what I found is it's quite common to have the pricing be the same or less on one week cruises when comparing the Retreat and the entry level veranda on Seabourn.
I just can't see paying the same amount to travel on Celebrity and we are big fans.

Hi...I am booking my first Seabourn cruise and would love a referral coupon if someone can help me. Thanks!

Call their accessibility department: https://www.celebritycruises.com/special-needs/accessibility
I just cruised with a family member who needed a wheelchair for boarding and potentially on board. They had our name at the pier and provided a wheelchair with someone to assist until I got on, then as soon as we were on the ship they gave us a wheelchair to use for the week.
You need to be clear with them what you need, but they were very helpful once they fully u derstood. You can also rent a wheelchair from a third party, but I just used theirs and it was fine.
BTW I tried to arrange it through my travel agent and she told me celebrity doesn't loan wheelchairs. YMMV but it worked out fine for me.

Curious about the double points. Were they for specific sailings or bookings? I'm on a B2B on Equinox to Mexico next week and somehow didn't notice anything about it.
If you booked during the window you should get double suite points on each cruise....nice!

This will move us to Elite and we have another (free) cruise in late December so was hoping to have the change in status by then!

If you have already sailed....how long did it take for them to post?

I have received 4 free cruise offers, including one for 2023, and have booked 3. One I elected a different discount to book a suite, one I booked a second full priced cabin for my kids and bought drinks and wifi, and one where I will also buy drinks and wifi for a 9 night ABC cruise. If they were not going to sell those cabins they just got a bunch of revenue from me 🙂
I don't gamble at all but must have joined at some point.

We were booked in Aqua this summer on the Solstice and tried to Move Up to a suite with no luck. I went to the main desk and while it was a long line, it was worth it. We received a call right after the ship set sail with an offer to move to a Sky Suite!
They told me Suite were sold out but I asked them to check if there are no shows and there were, so I would wait in line....it might be worth it!

I had to call. I was quarentined in mid-july and I just got my reimbursement and credit

I called today and was able to book a 10 day Edge Southern Caribbean cruise under this deal. The agent said every 2022 Caribbean cruise was eligible.

We just sailed in 2133 during our Solstice Alaska cruise.
We upgraded onboard, so were given the chance to go see the room first with the Retreat Manager. I asked about noise from above, and she told us the only issue she was aware of was the noise from the carts being pushed in the Oceanview cafe (it's a low-volume rumble). We actually heard it while we were there with her, and didn't think it was too bad.
That was basically all we heard (sometimes footsteps, but that was rare). It really didn't bother us, but if you are a very light sleeper (I am!), you won't hear it at all if you wear earplugs. Other than that, we loved the location - close to the elevators and to the pool deck, and we are sailing in virtually the same location in December to Mexico!

The BCC offer did not seem great to me. This was for Solstice on Dec. 3, 2022. We have Solstice on Dec. 11 in Aqua already booked from some time ago and thought we might go B2B.
There was no availability for this promotion on Dec 3 when I spoke with them last Sunday. They offered me a different casino discount on a suite for that sail date (which we took)! But when we checked other sail dates it was available and was very generous (as described in other posts).

I have another thought. There is an offer for double captains club points for this cruise . I wonder if this would apply since we actually get points.
I had that question as well! I don't see why not.

I'll add that in addition to the paxlovid, I needed to isolate at a hotel since it was not drivable distance to my home. Celebrity is reimbursing me $250 per day for my lodging and $100 per day for my food. They also arranged for my transport to the hotel in seattle free of charge.
-
I just tested positive on the Solstice last week and was given paxlovid by the ship's doctor shortly after the test results came back. There was no charge.

I was just on the Solstice in Alaska. I had symptoms Wed night, and tested positive Thursday. They could not have handled it more horribly than they did, but that's a story for another thread 😞
The isolation cabins were on 6. I couldn't tell how many, but they had closed the fire doors and posted a Do Not Enter sign on them. Behing the doors were 15-20 cabins for covid positive passengers. I was in 6231.

- Ship: Equinox
- Length of Cruise: 7
- Cruise Sail Date: 3/7/20
- Date email offer received: Didn't...entered directly on site
- Captain’s Club Tier Select
- Booked through Celebrity Direct OR via TA: TA
- Current Cabin: 3156
- Bid? Yes/No: Yes
If YES - Bidding Details:
- Cabin Category: 1A Veranda
- Bid Offer: $165
- Notification Date: 3/3/20
- Accepted / Rejected Accepted
General Comments (offer details, etc.) We booked an Inside Guarantee and were given the lowest category on the Deck 3, so not optimal. But it was an incredibly good deal, so we figured we deal with it. The minimum was $160 for a Veranda, and we bid $165. And they assigned us a 1A, so we're thrilled!

Hi....we'll be sailing this coming Saturday on SDII and our very excited to give it a try!
One question I had was on the ipod speaker in the room...does it use the lightning connector or the older connector. I ask because in most hotels they have the older radios with the old connectors and wanted to know if I should plan accordingly.
Thanks!

Yes, 14 days in August. Athens RT.
It's a veranda cabin guarentee on the Seabourn Encore. Comparable in size to a Sky Suite. Stocked with two bottles of whatever alchohol we want, refilled if we finish them. Includes tips, wifi and drinks. I paid $3300 before tax, Infinity was $3k before tax, but did not include gratuities.
I have not traveled on Seabourn before, but have been on other small, luxury ships. I would say the expereince in all cabins is equivalent to retreat class, likely better.
I had to pay 100% up front and it's non-refundable, so maybe not apples to apples, but close enough. I was shocked.
