The only printing I have ever done was of our Boarding Passes on the eve of our departure. This was not a problem.

My holiday insurance is about to expire and I wonder if I should consider Seabourn Shield.

All this information is very useful. Thank you everyone!

Do all cabins/suites on Regent have both shower cubicle and bathtub?
-
We have taken a "guarantee" a couple of times and not been disappointed. My one fear was being allocated a suite for the mobility challenged, i.e one with a wet room rather than a bath and shower cubicle and without a walk in closet. But that never happened.

Taking the photo is not a problem for me, it's the uploading on to a form. I hate to admit my ignorance, but I've never uploaded a photo on to a document on my phone. I guess I'll have to get someone to show me.
Another issue is the credit card info. It will not let you enter the name on the card as it is.
For example on your card is MR JOHN A DOE. On the form it will not allow this, just correcting it to JOHN DOE. Perhaps this will be corrected at the port.

I have no problem entering in all the usual stuff, passport, emergency contact information and valid credit car information etc., but as someone who is not at all technical, will it be easy to download a photo from my phone?

Just wondered if this was still mandatory.

This is all very helpful. Thank you.

How many formal nights on a 14 day cruise?
And how formal is formal? For men.
-
Many thanks for the reassurance.

No, it's not me, it's my hubby. He does not use a smartphone.
Is there a paper printed each day with the programme?
Also are there computers to use onboard?

What are the other Banned on board items?

Thanks to everyone for your input. Papa flamingo mentioned unpacking. Wow! On second thoughts, not sure about that...
How many suites does a butler serve?
-
It will be our first time on Regent.
Question: what does a butler do?

A day room for use on Seabourn? I never heard of that.

Hi. I am in a similar situation with flight at 17:30. Is it not possible to leave your cases on the boat and collect them later. My travel agent who booked everything via Seabourn told us they offer a day room for use.
-
As you have your flights booked through Seabourn, I think you should contact them with the problem. As someone else has commented, there are definitely direct flights to Venice from the UK.

I second Trivia. Great fun. The team my DH and I were on won, and a big deal made. We each got a full sized Seabourn stuffed bear. That night we all shared a table at the restaurant, such fun. Other teams did the same. The game was very congenial, groups got to know each other. The more sea days the more fun.
I second that. Not only is it fun but a great way to get to know other people. It had to be suspended on our last cruise in October because of a few Covid cases, so I'm not sure of the situation at present.

"In August when the Ovation had a small outbreak of COVID"
As someone on board the Ovation on the Greek island cruise during the small outbreak when a few passengers were disembarked in Rhodes, I second everything Hlitner writes except that it was at the beginning of October and not in August.

Who is your Cruise Director?

I was onboard and would agree that Seabourn handled the situation extremely well, though more communication would have been reassuring. There was a rumour which was then confirmed by the Captain. I seem to remember his words as being "a small number of cases."

How were your tests, braidmcd? Another bulletin would be reassuring.

Hi - it’s a couple of years now but when we were last on board those wearing suits or tux on formal nights (in the Med) were in the minority. Would welcome thoughts from those who’ve been on Ovation this year.
I don't know about suits, but friends who have recently disembarked told me that those in a tux were definitely in the minority.

How far in advance of the booked cruise can one apply to Stockperks for the onboard credit?
