We just got off of the ship today.
First let me say the parking garage in Miami is super easy to get too..
Pros first:
Fast embarkation
2.0 upgrades gave more food options.
Room Steward and deck bartenders were amazing
Inside of ship looked like it had been updated some. We were on the first floor interior which was no biggie we slept like babies
Now for the cons:
We experienced fumes on our floor from the crew using interior marine grade paint. which the fumes flowed all throughout the floor and into our rooms and caused/created headaches and runny nose for quite a few people on our floor including us. they kept fans out all the time.
We only had hot water in our room with low water pressure which we didn't complain about that because it was a charter cruise the rooms were sold out so it wouldn't have made a difference no other rooms were available.
Main water line broke on the ship water had to be turned off for two hours so there for 2700 people had no way to use the restroom so you can just imagine what was going on
Overall food was OK but we think that had to do with our charter cruise food selection not carnival itself, would we go on that ship again if friends were going probably yes we would, is that our first choice no but don't let my post keep you from going on victory overall we had a great time

We just came off of a 10 day cruise paying as we drank because it was a chartered cruise therefore drink packages weren't offered. Being beer drinkers it was cheaper to buy a bucket that comes with 4 beers in it cost per bucket if you ordered at the bar $26.83 and if you ordered on deck and had it brought to you $ 28.63 Mixed drinks were also cheaper at the bar versus having one brought to you. We didn't have a limit on how much we could purchase.. I hope this helps.

Living on the east coast of florida I know we won't be in the water in February while in the Bahamas. Hopefully the weather will be good...

Hello for the price of tickets to Ksc I would say no.. there are some things to do in cocoa beach area. With limited time I would either take uber into cocoa beach area or go on the airboat tour.
Our area is mixed residential/touristy. The pier is a nice stop but over priced for food.. The sandbar is a local hot spot with good food however nightlife can get pretty rowdy.. RonJons store is a great way to kill time and do some shopping.. if you want to stay closer to port there are several restaurants and fishing excursions...

We did a excursion in Cozumel years ago that included keeps thru the myan ruins and a snorkeling trip. Short story we had to pay off the military in the jungle. The company did not have life vest for snorkeling and my kids father cramped up and nearly drowned...

Hello the space center tour is easily a all day event there is so much to see... lines can get pretty long.
The drive from the port to Ksc is easily a 15-20minute drive maybe a little longer if draw bridges are up.. driving to airboat ride probably will take the same amount of time
As far as discount tickets for both places check groupon in Brevard County they run specials all the time..

I live in Brevard County fl and I believe you can book directly through the companies. I would recommend looking up recommendations through TripAdvisor. There is a ecotour that takes you on airboat ride.
Also if you can figure out how to get to the Kennedy Space Center visitors center that is amazing.
You can also look up things to do in cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach. Unfortunately our port doesn't have a lot going on as of yet. Alll of the restaurants in the cove are for the most part locally owned . Grills is the go to around here.
Best of luck

Falmouth tubing questions
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
We did a tubing excursion that was about that time length. The tubes were all tethered together and the guide did all the padding all of the tubes had enclosed bottoms. We just laid back and listened to him explain the past history of the sugar cane plantation... I hope this helps give a little information..
