It must be a pretty low capacity cruise... Nothing has been busy at all... No lines anywhere. No wait at the bar...
50% capacity

Has anyone recently cruising ncl notified if any of the hard seltzer brands (alcoholic) in cans were available for beverage package? Hard cider (ie angry orchard)
thanks!

can Someone confirm there are actual tables to smoke at in the pool area and that women’s restroom is on same side as smoking area?

Lots of honor has a new address which is right next to park n go. That’s alll I know of that. I was parked at park n go during the hurricane when they got hit by a tornado! So much fun. And no, expecting a 7 day cruise and getting a 10 day cruise isn’t fun especially when your homes were hit by said hurricane. Lesson learned no more cruising during hurricane season and I am a 30+ cruiser.
From what I know park n go and Park Port Canaveral are now 10.95. Port parking is 136$ so I’d rather pay the extra. We were held on big tour bus waiting for it to fill before we left at park n go. It was an hour. Not worth my time to wait to get on that ship! It was cheaper in sept that made it cost effective.

I'm leaving sept 3 on oasis and am now concerned. They won't keep a ship in the port during a hurricane. They sail away from it. Look at what's happening in Texas. If they can't get into the port, the ship will remain at sea and cruises will get lengthened and shortened. If they can get into port to turn the ship and the hurricane is elsewhere and in the path of itinerary they usually alter the itenerary or cancel ports.

Well the pool was opened at some times but most of time closed that removal was a hot mess and still not done when we left today - yesterday both pools were closed when I went up there due to rough seas. May people on the ship were suffering from cruise crud even some workers. I'm thinking it was bhroncitis because everyone was coughing.

While I'm a fan of rccl I am actually on the jade so I'm sitting here on deck 13 enjoying my ultimate beverage package at the pier watching rhapsody. I've been on 28 cruises and never missed a port. I can only imagine how long the line is at their guest services desk especially since they can see us docked.
If your looking at costa maya as a stop there is a dolphin swim right here at port $149 to swim.

We had rough seas after our Cozumel departure - we were greeted Witt heavy winds. We successfully docked in costa maya with high winds and rough waters and scattered showers.
I see rhapsody of the seas out at sea. Our cruise director stated that another ship from another company decided not to dock today at costa maya.
FYI there is a dolphin swim right at the pier they have 4 dolphins and it is $149 for a swim and either 30 or 35 to pet and kiss a dolphin.

Live in costa may FYI seas are rough and heavy winds the Ncl jade successfully docked but rhapsody is sitting out and sea deciding not to dock. Remember that it's never safe to book your own private excursions.

If you enjoy 2 hour dinners, shows and food that fall below that of rccl ncl and ccl.. This is the ship for you. Of course this is all a matter of opinion but I took my first and last msc cruise this month and this is after 26 cruises on other lines. The ship is beautiful. We received the best service from the sports bar and cigar lounge crew.

They brought the levity comedy shows from headliners into the theatre as replacement and for brat pack put together what they called supper club unplugged. They made announcement when you showed up expecting to see brat pack. There was no charge for this show. I don't call singing "come together" by reading the lyrics off a piece of paper professional entertainment. Fail for ncl. I don't understand why they don't have backups trained to be able to fly in at next port. They should rethink their shows in the future. I recall several weeks ago MDQ was dark for the week due to issues as well.

Jan 16-23 very disappointing that both shows were cancelled due to cast member injuries.
This was very disappointing for most. For those sailing on the Jan 23 voyage keep us posted if they got replacement cast and were able to preform.
As side notes the ship makes a lot of strange noises when moving and the food is salty.

Wow that's great - I had the choose two promo of the beverage package and the dining package and got to keep that. This is my 26th cruise and the first time I don't have to worry about a bar tab so I am going to be spoiled. The large balcony is going to spoil me too because it has a lounge chair which is going to be great when I sleep outside. I hate camping but it never feels like that when I am at sea and it's my guilty pleasure

I asked for deck 8 in particular because I wanted to be on same level as oceanfront. Plus I knew there was a mini with a large balcony available
-
Don't get discouraged! I called at 15 days, 12 days, and 6 days until sailing and finally got an up sell on the escape from an inside to a mini suite with large balcony for $300 for 2 people. When I called the last time and asked for up sells they advised they had balconies and mini suites for $150 pp. I asked for availability on deck 8 and they had a mini suite. To be down the hall from smoking areas and district?!? Yes!
-
I called at 15 days and at 11 days till sailing and no offers... Maybe I'm blacklisted lol there are still many balconies available for my escape cruise...
-
I smoke so it won't bother me. Just called an no reduced upgrades available... Maybe in a few days...
-
Plenty of cabins available on my escape sailing on Jan 16 -called up sell last week they they offered me a balcony or a mini for fee and I declined - called today because I wanted a room on deck 8 and said no offers available....

I parked several times at premier when they had the lot closer to the port. They said they closed that lot and are now at the lot that is miles away. I had the same issue as OP back in MARCH. You would think they would get their act together.
After waiting over an hour in the library lot I saw one shuttle leave empty and come back with returning passengers. There was no hope in sight and none of the employees knew what was going on....
I left and went straight to pier. Dropped off my luggage and pulled in to garage and was on the ship in no time. Hours later I saw people that were waiting with me in the library parking lot to get into premiers lot just getting on the ship....
Lesson learned - it pays to park at the port. It was money well spent.
As for my refund, after several attempts of emailing premier I was never contacted. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company and got the refund.

Scarlet lady smoking areas
in Virgin Voyages
Posted
There are two main smoking areas. Deck 16 forward right outside Richards rooftop and is open air. Inside the casino on deck 6 is an indoor smoking area and hidden. Right behind the casino cage is a black door that automatically opens so you go through that door then through a glass door to the left and you are met by games and chairs. There is occasional bar service by crew as well.
