Only my photos, and it was an unlimited package.

On the ship, I was able to view any photos that had been taken each day. There was one (that I know of) missing photo of my daughter on iFly. We were able to find and add that with the assistance of the photography staff. But there is no option once you are off the ship to search for any missing photos. Only the previously identified photos were available for download.

    Thank you!

I was on Anthem in December. No USB - a link to the photos was sent about a week after the cruise, with 30 days to download the photos. There was an option to download photos during the last day of the cruise, but the wi-fi (we had the full internet package) was so wonky at that point that I was only able to get a few of them. All photos from embarkation on were included.

Hi - I was wondering - when you got the download link, it was only your photos, right? Did you purchase an "Unlimited" package?

I remember on board Explorer 3 years ago, I was able to use the on-board kiosks to find "missing" photos (ones with my son and his grandma) that the photo recognition missed, and then add them to my collection.

Did the website have any option for that (adding missing photos)? Or could you only download?

    Thanks!

  3. Oh, so I often visited the photo kiosks on Deck 3 to check the "all photos" packages I had paid for ($50 cheaper if purchased within first 3 days), and the photographers/staffers there tried to sign me up for a "Picture This" portrait session many times. I was happy to tell them I'd already had one.

(BTW the "all photos" package is only for 1 cabin. We had 13 people spread across 4 cabins, but the system somehow let me lump in photos of my mom & dad in adjoining cabin, and a few of my brother's family (wife + 2 boys), even when we weren't in the photos with them. We had to jump into photos w/ my other brother and to get them added. There's also PhotoFinder that sometimes lets you add "missing" photos to your collection.)

  4. We just got back from Explorer of the Seas to Alaska where we took photos with "Picture This" photographer Margarita. The studio was located on Deck 13 between the basketball/soccer court and the FlowRider. I believe this used to be the multi-sport simulator that still appears on Deck 13 signage.

The location is relevant because we opted to take a photo with 13 of us (8 adults, 5 boys ranging from 18mos-12yrs) in our formal dining wear at 5PM (dinner seating at 5:30PM). It was an at-sea day, winds were strong and there were issues with walking, hair, makeup.

Session went fine, with one boy needing some coaxing after waking up from a nap, but we eventually got some good images and got out to dinner. Margarita was very accommodating and patient with the large group. Next morning my mom, wife, and sisters-in-law went down to review the images and talk about price.

As a present to my mom, we split the $550 for the 5-images on USB stick (a RCI-branded silver-plated with leather strap USB stick, but still a USB stick) and Margarita "threw in" 2 extra images.

I notice there *wasn't* a photography release on the stick, so I need to track that down as some photos printers are sticklers for such things. Although I do have a release for the "all photos" package I bought directly from RCI on-board photographers, and that would probably suffice.

Anyways, was it worth it? Enh... we paid $300 for a much longer but more casual session with my wife's family in a local park (6 adults, 4 boys) where we got over 100 great images. Not a "studio" experience, but honestly the on-ship studio was just black drapings covering the walls, some stools, nice lights, and fancy camera and computer.

On the other hand, trying to gather all 13 of us in one room, dressed nicely, is a pretty rare occasion. So I guess for that, it's not bad.
