We have booked the above tour for October 31, 8:30 AM at the Cruise ship port. We have indicated we are interested in not only experiencing Sugar Loaf and the Redeemer statue but also the Botanical Gardens, the Cathedral, the Municipal Theater, the Escaderia steps, the beaches, and a Churraseqria lunch!

Four of us at $75 each with a registered personal guide instead of the ship tour of $279 each with many more than four of us--just made sense to us. We are lively explorers who travel a lot and enjoy every moment .

I have followed up in the brochure and internet advertisements of free Saint Petersburg shore excursions on the July 1 voyage of the Mariner.

My agent (with Prestige Holdings) e-mailed me a list of the free excursions as follows: (ALL with LED prefaces) 001,003,004,006,009,012,014,017,019,022,024,and 025.

My Brochure (APR1468) also includes free pre-paid gratuities, unlimited free internet, $99 Premium air Upgrade, $300 Shipboard credit and free air.

I paid on April 8th--one of last two inside staterooms.
