  1. Hello

We are experienced cruisers and usually book our own excursions outside the cruise line.  However, with this late arrival into STT, I can't find anything that will work for us.  I may have to resort to using one of the cruise line snorkel tours if we want to go snorkeling.  One goes to Buck Island and one goes to St John Honeymoon Beach.  Is it worth doing one of these?  or does anyone know of a company what will do a short snorkel tour that fits this time frame?  We've been to Sapphire beach before.

    Thanks

We have been looking into this also for our 2023 cruise, apparently there are only a very small number of taxis on the island so they are hard to come by and expensive but the bus is frequent in the summer months.

I went back and checked our itinerary.  Apparently we are tendering in Mykonos so we will be dropped off in the main town.  Easier to catch bus from here.  Thanks.

We just got off Navigator in San Pedro (Jan 17-24) self assist started at 7:30am. Walked off easily no lines at all. Taxi's at the port if needed. You could easily make a flight from LAX leaving pretty early.

Did you enjoy your Navigator cruise?  Looking to do a short weekend one in March.

I have sailed this itinerary many times during different months of the year, and for some reason that last sea day headed back to LA is always cool and windy. I always pack pants and sweatshirts/sweaters even in the summer.  Cabo (my fav) is normally sunny and in the 70s-80s depending on when you go. The hot rainy season is July/August. It gets hotter and more humid as you sail south.  I will be on the Navigator in February as well. Be prepared for cool, perhaps rainy weather in LA.

What would march be like?  Warm enough to sit by pool?  Looking at 3 night so wouldn't go that far south

  5. I booked our first Europe cruise for May 2022 for my daughter's high school graduation.  I hope we do not have to wear masks by then (but could probably manage since we would be off the ship most of the time)  However, if the restriction to only book cruise line excursions is NOT gone by then, I will be cancelling.

great review so far! And I'm convinced - heading to the solarium on day one for a "Kareme special" :classic_biggrin: We'll be on the Allure on March 10th and it can't come soon enough for this cold, sun loving Canadian.

Same here.. I'll see you at the Solarium bar on March 10 for a Kareme Special :)  Didn't realize you could have lunch there as well.. probably much less crowded than WindJammer

  7. We just got back from Carnival Breeze and had an excellent snorkel tour with Radical Adventure Catamaran.  It is not the West End though.. They go to the south end of the island.  The food, drinks, staff were all wonderful. They picked us up and it was a 40 minute drive or so to get to the sailboat.  The road has been improved so not bumpy like it used to be.  We went to 2 snorkel stops and had a great lunch.  Highly recommend!  http://www.svfreeradical.com/

  8. We are sailing on Breeze (first time on Carnival) and my DH and I both have CPAPs.  We will bring extension cords.  Are there 2 outlets in the room that we can use? Or should we bring an extension cord that has 2 outlets on it?  Any kind of extension cord will work?  We've only sailed RCCL and they DON'T want you to bring extension cords.  They want to provide them.

2nd question- - I haven't been able to find where to order the Distilled water.  Should I just wait until we get on board? or is there a place to order this ahead of time?

    Thanks.
