Thanks for the pictures and description. I think we will do the same thing. Did you eat lunch in town?

Thanks! I'll check it out.

Hello
We are experienced cruisers and usually book our own excursions outside the cruise line. However, with this late arrival into STT, I can't find anything that will work for us. I may have to resort to using one of the cruise line snorkel tours if we want to go snorkeling. One goes to Buck Island and one goes to St John Honeymoon Beach. Is it worth doing one of these? or does anyone know of a company what will do a short snorkel tour that fits this time frame? We've been to Sapphire beach before.
Thanks

I can only wish before mid May for our Europe cruise 🙂

We have been looking into this also for our 2023 cruise, apparently there are only a very small number of taxis on the island so they are hard to come by and expensive but the bus is frequent in the summer months.
I went back and checked our itinerary. Apparently we are tendering in Mykonos so we will be dropped off in the main town. Easier to catch bus from here. Thanks.

Do you know if you can catch cab at port to take us directly to beach? or do we have to take shuttle into town and catch bus or cab there?

I have a catamaran trip booked with them for upcoming May cruise. Said they would meet us at top of cable car and shuttle us over to the dock.

We just got off Navigator in San Pedro (Jan 17-24) self assist started at 7:30am. Walked off easily no lines at all. Taxi's at the port if needed. You could easily make a flight from LAX leaving pretty early.
Did you enjoy your Navigator cruise? Looking to do a short weekend one in March.

What is earliest you would consider getting a flight from LAX when leaving cruise? Are their taxis at the port you can grab easily?

I have sailed this itinerary many times during different months of the year, and for some reason that last sea day headed back to LA is always cool and windy. I always pack pants and sweatshirts/sweaters even in the summer. Cabo (my fav) is normally sunny and in the 70s-80s depending on when you go. The hot rainy season is July/August. It gets hotter and more humid as you sail south. I will be on the Navigator in February as well. Be prepared for cool, perhaps rainy weather in LA.
What would march be like? Warm enough to sit by pool? Looking at 3 night so wouldn't go that far south

Looking at possible 3 night cruise out of LA weekend of March 11. I'm really just want warmer weather, sit by the pool, probably not get off the ship. Will it be warm enough to do this in March? I know weather is unpredictable, but in a general sense?

We are on the May 16 Odyssey of the Seas Greek Cruise as well. Cruise stops are Santorini, Mykonos, Athens, Chania (Crete), Ephesus (Kusadasi) and Naples Italy. We tend to do DIY tours instead of ship sponsored ones. Appreciate the input on the stops.

Do children and teens get drink vouchers if they have diamond plus status? My kids enjoy mocktails and soda.
I'd like to know this as well.

Is this D+ perk only? Or does regular Diamond have this perk? I remember using once but must have paid for it.

I booked our first Europe cruise for May 2022 for my daughter's high school graduation. I hope we do not have to wear masks by then (but could probably manage since we would be off the ship most of the time) However, if the restriction to only book cruise line excursions is NOT gone by then, I will be cancelling.

Did you have to purchase Wi-Fi or anything to use text feature? We went on recent Carnival cruise and we could send texts through their App - had to pay $5 extra (just a one time fee) . It was very handy. Does the Royal App have a similar feature?

Make sure to load the RC App onto everyone's phones. It is very helpful and you can text each other on the ship.

great review so far! And I'm convinced - heading to the solarium on day one for a "Kareme special" We'll be on the Allure on March 10th and it can't come soon enough for this cold, sun loving Canadian.
Same here.. I'll see you at the Solarium bar on March 10 for a Kareme Special :) Didn't realize you could have lunch there as well.. probably much less crowded than WindJammer

We just arrived on Saturday from Breeze. We were in the early luggage group and did Cortrans shuttle. I looked at my watch and it was 10:40 after we dropped our bags at SouthWest counter. If we had carried off I assume we would have been there 30-60 minutes earlier. Our shuttle left Port Canaveral at 9:30 or so

We just got back from Carnival Breeze and had an excellent snorkel tour with Radical Adventure Catamaran. It is not the West End though.. They go to the south end of the island. The food, drinks, staff were all wonderful. They picked us up and it was a 40 minute drive or so to get to the sailboat. The road has been improved so not bumpy like it used to be. We went to 2 snorkel stops and had a great lunch. Highly recommend! http://www.svfreeradical.com/

I would not object if they are still in high school. Like a previous poster said, they are all in high school anyway. They should just make the club for high school students (18 and younger). If person is in college then they are not able to attend. A valid high school id should be shown.

We are sailing on Breeze (first time on Carnival) and my DH and I both have CPAPs. We will bring extension cords. Are there 2 outlets in the room that we can use? Or should we bring an extension cord that has 2 outlets on it? Any kind of extension cord will work? We've only sailed RCCL and they DON'T want you to bring extension cords. They want to provide them.
2nd question- - I haven't been able to find where to order the Distilled water. Should I just wait until we get on board? or is there a place to order this ahead of time?
Thanks.

That's disappointing to hear. Going next week so I guess I will see. I heard about making reservation for lunch so I will do that when I get there in the morning. What time did you get there? Was it crowded at all.
