  1. Hello, I hope you are enjoying your cruise. I have a question, does the Reflection have computers that guests can use.  I know most people use their phones these days but I need to check some work things that are too difficult to do on a phone. Just didn't want to bring my computer. Thank you in advance.

  2. Bounce sounds great.  Last time we were in Miami, we went to an indoor shopping mall and the information area had a place for us to check our luggage for free. Sorry I don't remember which mall. But it was nice to shop and have lunch better than the airport for hours. It was a stormy day.

Did you do the waterfall hike and swim or the Damajagua waterfall adventure. The description we were looking at doesn't mention any jumps or stairs. We are also overweight and live at altitude (Colorado) which makes sea level a little easier. My friend is just a little nervous because she has back and knee issues. We are hoping for a nice forest walk with a visit to the waterfall pond.

We did the waterfall hike and slide.  I have bad knees and had trouble sitting down to slide so the guides would hold my lifevest at the shoulders and sitting down was no problem.  They did get a nice tip.

  4. I wouldn't try to walk to the beaches, but you can get a taxi just outside the port in the parking lot that will give you a price and you pay when you get back to the port.

Has anyone done the Amber Cove Waterfall Hiking Adventure with Shore Excursions Group.

This is different than the waterfalls. I am trying to gage how "difficult" it truly is.

    Thanks in advance.

We did it last Oct. it was fun. We are overweight, in our 70s but, we do live at 6,500 feet and snow ski everyday. They stop on the hike from time to time. The first jump is a doozie but fun. The hike does have a lot of stairs. My knees didn't really like that. Glad we did it.

Looking into booking an Alaska Cruise for the 1st time this June. We need to book last week of June. If I book the cruise now will I still be able to book cruise tours. After doing some reading it sounds like they sell out quickly. I don't want to spend the money if I won't get the full experience.

We have done Alaska cruises a few times. We always do our own excursions.  Go to the Alaska board, you can do it yourself. Just a little research required.

  7. They raised the tips and decreased the service? Room service is one of the reasons I love to cruise. It's my little treat to have everything neat and tidy without having to do it all myself. We cruised for 8 weeks last year on RCCL , Princess and NCL. We are almost at the top on all 3 but I must say NCL was our favorite until last year. It was the first time we didn't buy future cruise credits. Now I am really glad we didn't. Might have to say good bye to NCL.

There are plenty of people offering excursions outside the exit of Taino Bay cruise port. walk past the pool, and all the shops to the exit.

We agree easy to get tour just outside the exit. We were there last Oct. just make sure the driver speaks english if you don't speak Spanish. We made that mistake a few years ago.

  9. We went out to the front and got a taxi tour for the two of us.  It was great. We went to the tram to the top of the mountain, the town square, chocolate factory, the fort and more.  The person negotiating the price of the tour spoke very good english but the driver not so much.  I don't remember the price, but if I did it again I would make sure the driver spoke english before getting in the taxi.
