  1. There is one right at the pier when you come off the ship to the left. There is seating along the water and a place to get a regular massage. The fish pedi place is right there $20...I did it on a whim and it was the strangest feeling..not really ticklish and I am very sensitive on my feet...but more like little suctions.

  2. We are doing the Fantasy at the end of the month...I would have loved to be upgraded but so far not yet :( I don't know how it is determined. I didn't select the room this time and i somewhat wish I had as we are booked on the Rivera Deck...last time I picked and were on the Empress deck which I loved! Hoping this will be just as nice but just farther elevator ride down LOL

  3. Yup I agree about the club...We went in Oct but my son turned 12 in Jan. They agreed to let him move up to Club C as long as I was ok with it and there wasn't any issues with behavior or what not. I know for my son there was no way he would have had nearly the fun he had being with the younger kids. There is definitely a difference in actives between Camp Carnival and Circle C.

  4. We are going on the Fantasy next month and we just got our room assignments. We have been booked on the Rivera deck mid ship. Anyone have any info on this deck? Last time was our first cruise and we stayed on the Empress deck. It was nice being so close to everything but the Rivera is 3 floors lower.

Also is there breakfast/brunch served in the MDR? Last time we went there only for dinner as I thought that was all there was served there. I think I remember seeing/reading that they do breakfast/brunch in the MDR in the morning as well. I thought I might give it a try this time if they do.

  5. I don't think there is but I do know you want to be careful because you can't cash it out if you don't use it all and I don't believe you can carry it over to another cruise. Last time we sailed we did really well with managing our sign and sail acct. I found it great to have the self check kiosk so you can see where you are at without getting a surprise at the end. I didn't prepay the daily gratuities this time but I plan to before we sail. I want to have some saved before we sail just to know its spent just for the fun of the cruise :p

  6. I was going to purchase some cruise cash and see there is cruise cash, cruise cash bar and cruise cash photo. Couldn't I purchase just the regular cruise cash and then have that for my sign and sail card purchase? I will most likely have spent some at both the bars and photo but don't want to have to purchase cruise cash for specific bar/photo.

  7. Thanks for all the info! I think I might give my PVP a call in few days and see if she has any info or can give me an idea. She was very nice. Last cruise I did it all online and paid the extra and we were on the empress deck which was awesome! This time I knew because I was trying to save some bucks that I was gambling on the room. I just hope its an actual window and not a porthole :)

  8. I just booked our cruise last Friday for an oceanview room on the Fantasy with my PVP at a great rate so I wasn't able to pick our room. Will I be able to see what room we are assigned before we board or is it going to be a surprise? :) I am just hoping it's a true ocean view and not on the bottom deck but at the price I got I wouldn't be surprised :p

  9. We went to Paradise Cove in Oct 2014 and had a great time! The beach was perfect as were the employees there. The driver gave a nice history of the area on the shuttle to the cove. When we arrived we unloaded and got our snorkling gear. I went and did the rental of a beach chair and umbrella which was only like maybe 10 bucks for 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella. The food was very reasonable price MUCH cheaper then what you find at the port and so much better! We had great time snorkeling. My younger son (he was 11 at time) and I made it almost all the way out to the reef and saw lots of fish and even sting ray. It was a bit difficult as we got closer to the reef as it was a bit windy that day and the current picked up a bit. I was basically having to pull my son along with me so that really made it a challenge. My older son saw a turtle as well. I hear there are a lot more colorful and variety of fish to see behind the reef. I didn't do that because I was a bit concerned with my younger son and if he would be able to manage the swimming with the current. I would highly recommend Paradise Cove, in fact we are going back next month!

  10. I believe that they are moving the Fantasy out in April 2016 and the Sunshine in her place. I had seen something about it a few weeks ago via Facebook or twitter.

I just booked my boys and I on the May 30 sailing. We just went on her back in October 2014 and had such a great time we are going again. It's the perfect ship for us that is I can drive too (not nearly as far as Florida).

  11. Sailed the Fantasy back in Oct and I highly recommend the Motown Show it was great!! Also a little hidden gems is if it's still offered is the Magician that does a show back in one of the smaller venues. I would have to pull my funtimes to check but he did a really good show and interacted well with the guests. He went around the dining room one night during our meal and that's how we got introduced.

Fantasy is a great ship ...I am looking into booking another trip on her soon.

  12. Only 4 days until we sail!!! I was looking at a funtimes and was thinking of playing some bingo since i am not a gambler. How does it work..do you buy cards that you can use during the cruise or are they just for the day? How much is it? Is there an age limit? My kids might even like to play too! :)

  13. Thanks for sharing!!! We are going to sailing on the Fantasy in 9 days!! This is going to be our first cruise and we are very excited! I am more so now that I have seen your photos! Do you have any must see/do's on the ship for first timers?

  14. Looking to see what is schedule for events for either of these programs, any current funtimes? My 15yr old was a bit shocked when I told him he wouldn't be able to text while at sea ;) My other son thinks he is going to either party the night away or be in the pool/waterslide. I thought it would be nice to give them an idea of what to look forward too.

  15. Can you carry soda on in the pkg it you buy from the store or do you have to actually put it in your carry on bag on Carnival. I know this sounds like a silly question but it's our first cruise. I am wondering how much of a hassle it will be carrying on with check in and all. We are sailing on the Fantasy out of Charleston a week from Saturday!!!
