  1. It’s been two years since I’ve last cruised. However, there was always a wine deal on night one or two, where a table could receive a bottle of free wine, or obtain a 50% discount on more premium wines. On the Breeze and the Freedom, we were able to order several bottles of premium wine for 50% off. The only caveat was they had to be uncorked in the restaurant and were delivered to our stateroom. On my last cruise, on the Sunshine, we inquired  nicely about purchasing multiple bottles at a discount and we were told it was at the discretion of the restaurant manager, which I respect. However, we were never given an answer and were basically shunned by our waiter (which doesn’t make sense because he would have earned gratuity on all of those bottles).

I don’t know what the policy is. Is it up to the manager, are we asking to break the rules? I learned about this benefit a few years ago. This will make the difference if we order the Cheers package or not.

Any input is greatly appreciated, as I don’t want to look like a fool in the steakhouse asking for something that may be against current policy.
