Dinner menu We had salad and lamb. It tasted good 👍🏻 Dessert We went for bananas Forster And all the table got a chef special, the grand Manier soufflé. It was very good and service is very nice 👌🏻 Now it’s bedtime for “old ladies”🤣🥰

Tonight’s show was iBroadway. It’s a great show, feel good🥳 We have had a change of musicians onboard today. New acoustic duo and house band. The acoustic duo is really good! We heard them in Al Bacio, they are really good🥳🥳🥳 and now in Cellar Master

The Queens friend, Anki is on Rhodes this week😆 What a timing😂 (this is one of the entourage that will be onboard AZ next year) So the plan for today was meet up and have lunch together. We had a walk in old town for some sightseeing and shopping 🛍️ The Queen (again) shopped a new linen shirt and shorts…. And a new silk scarf 🧣 Ice cream was obligatory for the girls today🍨 We had a lunch down by the oceanfront. Sardines and Greek salad I was considering getting a new pair of slippers😁 it was just like petting Miss & Hannah🐾🐾🐈‍⬛🐈 After the day together in town we returned to the ship a little after 15.00. The Queen wanted coffee, so a stop in Al Bacio it is😅

Breakfast in MDR today🥰 Menu I went for my usual breakfast. Greek yogurt and berries🍓🫖 The Queen had pancakes 🥞 We arrived just after rush hours. So very peaceful down there☺️

As I mentioned earlier, we reported a tiny bug in our stateroom…. The night light on our bathroom is all out. So it’s either full daylight or black out. This is what happens when you have the light on during the night…. If you are a person that won’t sleep well in just a few tones of light, you need completely dark mode…. Bring a sleeping mask😝 Because the bathroom light is bright and shiny, same goes for the door to the hallway😉 The electrician has visited according to guest relations. But it wasn’t a quick fix. Aka just not a broken lightbulb🙄 They needed to change something else… so they are on it😇 fingers crossed for the future😁

The Martini Bar is really in their zone. IMG_4161.mov Compared to EQ/easter they are very alive and into making a show every evening🤩🥳🤩 We usually see the flair show and then continue onwards to Cellar Master. The music in grand foyer from the house band are really good. But a bit too loudly for us. In cellar master it’s either the classic guitar player or string duo🎶 The crew in Cellar Master is excellent and very friendly❤️ They are running over the “usual” club soda and sprite free😂❤️ Tonight’s menu: Lots of delicious options today! I went for salad and flank steak. The Queen had gumbo (YES, she really enjoyed it! The bowl was wiped😂) and chicken. We had a plate of gnocchi for sharing. All tasted great❤️😋😋 Dessert menu Our waiter was so clear…. Tonight your having ice cream again😂🤩😇 I promise, it’s a winner! Of course the ladies was ready for ice cream 🍨🥰😋😂 The Queen asked for sorbet and received the raspberry flavour. I was given vanilla. This was as it should be…. Creamy, rich velvet texture and delicious full body taste of vanilla or raspberry❤️❤️🍨 After dinner it was bedtime🥰

Tonight’s show is Leslie Mcdonel, “Women of Rock” She really has the voice to make it a fabulous show🎶 The Queen was SO impressed🤩

I had some coffee in Al Bacio with the Queen after arriving back onboard. She was a bit tired, so I followed her upstairs to our cabin. I changed into swimsuits and continued upstairs. The Queen decided to have a Power Nap on the bed😴. It’s slowly getting more people upstairs on pool deck as it gets closer to sail away. It’s a bit windy and on the edge of cold for me in the sun☀️ ( I know, this Viking prefer hot hot weather😎😝) The captain announced just a little after 17.30 that we were preparing the last details for departure. Perhaps it time to go downstairs to check on the Queen and prepare for the evening?

We had a walk in downtown Kusadasi. Tiny kittens 🐈‍⬛….❤️ they screamed please bring me home as a souvenir😆🥰❤️ The Queen’s back is not so functional today… So her speed is the deal of the day😅 It’s a good opportunity to have some frolex, Nike, YSL in fake😂😂 So you can wear Gucci, Prada & Hugo Boss on budget😆 The shopping area/city is Turkish 🇹🇷 salesman😜 So be prepared for a long line of sales along your route. After 3 hours of sales and a walk to the fortress, the Queen was ready to go back onboard.

Today is nothing planned. The Queen has nothing planned or wishes… I tried to get her out and about to Ephesus… Not tempting😜 ( I really tried) She’s in a track of I’m not onto big touring or activity🤔😶‍🌫️ My biggest concern is that she will pass away, way to early as my grandparents (her parents)🙄 The king will be old (the entire family is 100+ before they die😅) We started late…. Breakfast at 09.45. Buffet was empty😂😂 Today was poached egg 🥚😋 for me🥰 The Queen had her things😊

yes, different strokes for different folks🙃 It’s not a bad menu for Mr😁😋 Im just not a big pasta eater, I’m not a fan of pork (rheumatism and some foods are not always a good combo… pork is something that really puts fire 🔥 to me and how active it is) The fish is okay but boring😆 So when I’m full from lunchtime…. It’s really not a winner set for me😂😂

So for my American followers…. Eurovision is big in Europe. if we hadn’t had Eurovision…. There might not be ABBA😅 It’s always some controversy in one way or another though out the years connected to this event. Russia is banned to participate for the moment. I do understand that for Americans it’s not something you know about. But since we are in Europe, it’s a bit strange not to at least have something. Like today it’s US Mother’s Day. Happy Mother’s Day to my American friends🌺 It’s Sales gig connecting to this in the cruise compass and on the front page a big Congratulations! For the other guests, it’s not. In U.K it’s 30 of march and in Norway it’s 11 of February. it’s hard to catering for everyone. I’m happy Switzerland 🇨🇭 won 🏆 Norway 🇳🇴 ended last🤣🤣🥳🎶🤭 (we are famous for most last places)

Dinner…. I was still fully loaded of food since lunchtime. I had some warm food and cheese 🧀…. So a dinner in my mind😆 Today’s menu: Really nothing special…. What I notice is that they are repetitive🤔 I went for salad. Non of the mains are appealing to me. The Queen had salad, shrimp cocktail and she ordered fish fingers from the children menu accompanied by broccoli 🥦. Dessert menu: We didn’t try ice cream tonight…. We decided they needed to “eat down” the stock before we try it again🫣🤭 So the Queen went for the Pernod cake and I tried the biscuit cake. The Queen said the Pernod cake was good. The biscuit cake was really powerful. Dark chocolate and cream. So really delicious but should be half the size for serving😅 We can’t get over the fact that they have silence disco 🪩 in the martini bar tonight and not a Eurovision party…. My friend is on Anthem and Royal Caribbean is a main sponsor for Eurovision this year… So on Anthem the party started before dinner….. So we went to the stateroom for a “private” party 🥳 Ding-dong what is that tower on our coffee table😅 It was a delivery from the chef🥰 Really a surprise 🍓🍓🍓🍓

Mr is sending me pictures and updates from he’s miserable life home🤣🤣🤣 He is doing the empty freezer shows for dinner😅😆 (he should be happy I made lots of food earlier and freeze away) He has different soups to choose from and an assortment of Indian curry. But the hardest part is the cats 🐈‍⬛ 🐈‍⬛ They miss me❤️ They are both voluntary staying on Mr laps and sleep closely together…. Mr say he can’t go to 🚽 alone🤣🤣❤️

After the captain’s club meeting the Queen wanted some coffee to wake up😝 We had a double espresso in Al Bacio and went to the show. Tonight’s show was Broadway cabaret from the vocal cast. It’s their last show before they leave for holiday. It’s a potpourri of broadway and movie music. Very well performed🎶🎶 After the show it was officers meet & greeting in Grand Foyer.

The captain’s senior officer party was at 17.15. The ladies attended👍🏻 See my new shoes🤩 It was live 🎵 music. Canapés, drinks etc. captain Ioannis was talkative 🗣️ and very on stage. He presented the senior officer team. So a very well done performance by him and crew. They do take their time to be present and they seem comfortable with the situation.

Pool deck sorbet 🍧 is out & about…. and it tastes good 👍🏻

I started the day out on deck. Both the front and aft section was closed off for maintenance when I arrived for my walking trip…. So for the first 35 minutes of walking, I was only able to walk the running track around deck 11. Then they opened up the rest of the way😎 It was a bit windy and chilly outside. But a perfect time to go walking. We where sailing in the strait⚓️💙🤩 So a lovely view and a great way to enjoy both sides🙂 After an hour the Queen texted me… I’m downstairs on the terrace for breakfast… So I walked the final round and went downstairs to her🙃 She had picked up her preferred breakfast and was eating. I went inside to get some breakfast for myself. It had just turned 10 and they were closed in many sections already. So I was ready for a poached egg 🥚 but NO, they had closed already…. Then it was yogurt and muesli…. Another day….😇 it will be poached eggs 🥚 After my quick breakfast, the Queen walked off to find a sun lounger. I told her, you must find one in a place that have shade from the wind 💨😉 I went downstairs to change out of my walking clothes. You know the Queen are not properly trained🤪😜😝 When I returned to our cabin, the sign deep sleep was still up🫡 YEP, she’s not trained yet🤭🤔 Sorry Lerma❤️ I went downstairs to get some coffee for me on the way upstairs to the pool deck. I arrived 30.seconds before the beyond the podium guests arrived😅 They were armed and ready to fight them🤣🤣🤣 One officer was ready marking cups and collecting cards and then they were making coffee in full speed😅 It works well to keep control of the line🤓 I did also see a very friendly face of walking service (yes I have looked for her🥰 in Al Bacio) Maria our very friendly face from last year is onboard🙂 She was very busy as everyone serving tables. So I didn’t approach her to say hello 👋🏻. I told the Queen when I arrived upstairs🥰 She was SO happy! The sun had arrived outside😎😎 the temperature in the sun is much better than cloudy and windy😝
