We will be disembarking from a cruise in Quebec on Friday, Oct. 3rd. We'd like to then make our way from Quebec to Montreal and catch a flight home to SLC, UT from there. Flights are much cheaper leaving out of Montreal.

Any suggestions on the best way to travel from Quebec to Montreal? We've been looking at renting a car, but would also be interested in train or bus. If we do this, how close from the cruise terminal in Quebec are we to the train or bus?

The dates we would need a hotel are September 24 and 25. The one thing we know for sure we want to do is walk the Freedom Trail.

So it's sounding like it's better to find a hotel closer to the sites than the Cruise Terminal?

Hi all!

We are going on our first cruise this September departing from Boston. We are planning to be there 2 days prior to the cruise to do some sightseeing. Any recommendations on hotels in the area that might offer shuttle service to/from airport and the cruise terminal? We will not have a car.
