  1. I have booked a tour from Port Said to Cairo to see the pyramids, sphinx and Egyptian museum and especially to go to the famous market there... kan el kalili. I have booked the real life tour in Alexandria although they did offer the archeological one but having seen a lot of that the day before I thought the real life trip around the city would be a bit more interesting on a cultural level.

Hope everyone is getting as excited as we are about the trip!

  2. I am looking for a 2 day excursion from Port Said

we would like this including light show , how much will it cost us $??

    thank you

I booked a cruise which is meant to be stopping in Egypt. I am very optimistic that the cruise will still top in Egypt as the Itinerary due to most countries lifting all travel restrictions to Egypt. I am hoping to join a group for tours in Cairo when it docks to help me reduce the price of the extra trips for the whole cruise. Does anyone know of any groups that are already in existence? The cruise will also stop in Port Said
  3. Thank you for your assistance

I think you've made a great choice of tour, I am so excited for my trip.

We used Ramses Tour (if there is any chance you can get Amir Fawzy as your tour guide, you will have the best visit/tour you can imagine).

    Highlights

The Pyramids of Egypt, The Sphinx, The step pyramid of Sakkara, Memphis, The Egyptian Museum (make sure you go in the Mummy Room), River Nile solar boat ride.

Sakkara which is part of Memphis's massive necropolis, and the burial site of the most ancient Pharaohs where you will see the first pyramids build in Egypt "Step Pyramid of King Djoser that was designed by Imhotep, the ancient Egyptian architect also you will visit tomb in Sakkara then drive for lunch (included) on your way you will see the places where ancient Egyptians lived, you will see the oldest history alive in front of you.

Then you will be transferred to Memphis, the ancient Capital of Egypt to visit the colossal statue of Ramses II and nearby a still half-buried Hathor Temple

Your Egyptologist will then take you to the home of Egypt’s signature attractions so you can visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world... the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the middle pyramids of Chephren and the little one of Mykerinos as well as the mysterious Sphinx: the Father of Terror for the ancient pharaohs. This tour includes a visit to the valley temple facing the great sphinx.

Stay at the Mena House for at least 1 night, get a room with a view of the Pyramids. 5 star hotel, a wonderful experience.

My wife and I did a two day tour, with 1 night at the Mena Hotel, with tour guide and driver, all entrance fees included for $600. Unbelievably great deal.

  4. We booked our tour to Cairo, They are offering a group tour for up to 35 people at a price of $90 USD per person.

I was wondering how to join an existing group for a trip in Cairo so that I may reduce my costs. I am travelling and will stop in Egypt in November - does anyone know of any groups that I may join?
