There are two of us in the cabin.  If one of us gets the two devices for the internet, can each use one of the devices simultaneously?

Unfortunately our November 13th cruise doesn’t allow for reserving tickets for shows in advance of the cruise.  What is the process on board? Can anyone tell me the show schedules ahead of our cruise? Any tips on getting tickets?

You do not need reservations.  Due to the “liquid sunshine” on this cruise it is quite busy. 

Do you have to have a QR code with the test results? Walgreens Rapid test does not have QR code.  

Treadmills, bike machines, weight machines. No ellipticals.

I am hoping that someone is familiar with Switch Flops. Are these suitable? They are like a flip flop but the straps switch out to match your outfit. Certainly not on Chic night. Is the Elite Cocktail Hour usually on a formal night?

Have a Dec 3, 2016 cruise on Rhapsody leaving from Tampa. Was told the dry dock was to take place in Nov 2016. Now it sounds like Dec 2016. So my concern is either RCL cancels the cruise (which they do) or worry that nothing will be done to make the cruise memorable, since it's going into dry dock. Am I over thinking or do I have a moderate concern. People have to plan their vacation (work, family etc).

I had the same concern so I emailed RC. The ship comes out of dry dock the end of November before the transatlantic.

By which email address you spoke with them? Would like to ask them a few things too, but not sure where exactly to send...

I clicked on a link in the website. The response I got was from web_reservations@rcci.com

I received an email from RC that indicated she will be in dry dock November 3rd before her transatlantic November 23. No indication what her makeover will be. Happy sailing!

Just FYI, the Rhapsody has Itineraries (7-night Caribbean Cruises out of Tampa, FL) all through the month of Dec. 2016. However, she does NOT have any itineraries posted for Oct. of 2017 UNTIL the Repo to Tampa on the 23rd. :rolleyes:

I recently emailed RC to find out about the dry dock schedule because we are on the 12/10 sailing. They responded that she will be in dry dock on 11/3. Sailing transatlantic on 11/23. Starts sailing out of Tampa to Caribbean 12/3. They did not provide any details of what work will be done. Happy sailing!!

Quick question about the ship. We are sailing on the 22nd - is there an iPod dock in the stateroom?

We usually bring a power strip and this time did not. We never did need it. one of the biggest outlet savers though was the ipod/iphone dock- that right there cleared up 2 outlets.

 

We found the one on the desk (a multi-plug) sufficient. supposedly there is one under the bed (for C-Paps) but we never even needed to look for it. I think you will be fine unless you have different phone chargers and maybe need to recharge batteries a lot or anything like that.

 

 

Yes- it has a $3/pp cover plus each item you buy is a la carte. Since we did the Fiesta we did not see a menu, so I don't know individual item prices but I believe they are in the $2-$5/range each.

 

 

Yes, they do. they don't have as much selection as they do in regular land outlets but they did have a few, including the insulated cups.

Well 4 days & 5 bids later we got the Marriott/Stellaris end of Feb. pre cruise for 2 nights 2 rooms, $111/ea. Bid "San Juan area" and "Resort". Fyi, bids went 86,96,106,110,111. First time Priceline user and very happy with the result. :D Good luck bidding...

We used the same criteria, except for November 21st. Got three rooms for two nights at $115 each.

Just got the Sheraton Old San Juan for 5/2 after our cruise for $83 on Priceline. It looks very convenient to the main cruise port, but we are arriving at the Pan American pier. It got mixed reviews on Trip Advisor, but it looks to be in the middle of Old San Juan. Anyone have any experiences here?

We stayed here last year. That is about what we paid on special. The hotel is clean. The rooms vary in size and view. The location is outstanding. Walking distance to anything in Old San Juan.

This is probably not my best, but definitely my most unique. Looking down to the Centrum on Serenade of the Seas.
