  1. I just returned from the magic yesterday and spent a lot of time and money in the casino. My points were over 6000 by the last day. I received in my mailbox a discount for next cruise which needs to be booked within two weeks and used by August 10th. I was disappointed at this offer since I had previously played the same and would get an offer for free inside cabin. I think I will email and ask if this is a new program.

  2. We sailed august and there was a seafood night in the buffet where lobster tails were served. The staff during the day were really trying to push this as where ever u went they would say remember tonight in the buffet is a seafood extravaganza. Or something like that. We went and looked around saw the smallest lobster tail ever and the lines were so long. I think I have had jumbo shrimp that were bigger. We left and had a very nice dinner in the dining room. If you are really looking forward to having lobster tail on your getaway cruise I think it will still be served just not sure it's what one would expect.

  3. We arrived at around 11:30 at the resort went directly to front desk and asked how much for day pass was told $89.00 plus the resort fee of $20.00 food or drinks are not included. They did ask me how many wee in my party, I told them four even though I had five. Three kids. The resort was not full at all which was perfect we stayed until about 4. Had to be on ship at 5:30. I don't think it took more than 15 minutes by cab. Didn't think I would need the room but it was actually nice to have as it did rain for a bit. If I planed this we could have brought a change of cloths to shower and clean up before heading back to ship. Like I said it's definitely a quiet relaxing day if that's what your looking for. It's certainly not the Atlantis with all that activity. It has a nice casino if that's of interest.

  4. Just wanted to share my recent experience as we were on getaway last week and were looking for a day pass at a hotel. Cruise line had no such offer but I asked the information center in port and they suggested the westin at dawn beach. We took a short cab ride to westin for $7 each. Hotel is on the beach has a large infinity pool with swim up bar. Just a nice relaxing day if one is looking for that option. The cost was $89 plus a resort tax of $20. It also included a room.)

  5. Last year we booked through majestic tours, they responded to my email. I cannot recall what we paid for Atlantis but know it was a savings. They are located in the Atlantis casino. You can also go directly there and get the day passes. I think if you purchase ahead of time your cc company may charge a fee for international charge, mine did.

  6. Got the same offer for the tourn-event August 9th I decided to take this offer as the date worked well for my family. Cost to me for the inside room is $600 for two. I also had an offer from carnival which aim going to pass on. Same offer for two people inside room. It only $288. For two people. Very tempting but I am more of Ncl fan.

  7. So my question is if you are not feeling well a day or two prior to your cruise do you think you should cancel as a precaution? Let's say you had the stomache virus within 24 hours of your sail away. If you have insurance this would be covered most likely right? If you don't have insurance most would probably still go and that's how it spreads.

  8. I called CAS last week to book a cruise for next march they advised me based on my last trip on BA I would get a 20% discount. Well I decided to call back again since reading these boards and my points were over 2000. Seemed to remember reading some got comps for inside rooms based on that tier. I was indeed comped an inside room! Very excited about this offer. Now I don't have to wait and see if I get an offer from AC. Was told have 18 months to use. I wonder if I had not called would they have called me?

  9. We were just on the BA 4/13 sailing and had purchased the UDP. I enjoyed the specialty restaurants very much and have no complaints about food or the service. Did pass by osheehans when they had prime rib night and it did look good. As for the main dining did not eat in there this time but on our July sailing they were fine too. The entertainment was very good as we'll. saw the comedian and rock of ages. Most of our time was spent in the casino so I didn't see anything else. We did do the excursion day pass. A bit pricey but worth it for young kids as the water park is awsome. Any other questions let me know.
