I am happy to see the club class dining option, long over due. We usually book mini suites and will be interested to see what the difference in pricing will be for the club class mini suites versus the regular mini suites.

I have two cruises booked one at the end of November and one the beginning of January.

I was checking the OBC cost and it is different for each cruise. Now I understand from this message thread that it is tied to the exchange rate at time of booking.

I booked the November trip in September and can exchange canadian at 1.20 the other cruise I booked last summer, the exchange rate in canadian dollars is at 1.10.

I will definitely take advantage of this rate to add the OBC and pay for the tips.

I guess the point is if princess had a policy that was made public there would be no mystery to the up selling. But as it is now we all are in the dark when it comes to how princess decides who it offers the up sells.

I think it is great to hear that people are being offered up sells and they have taken advantage of the offer. I would just like it to be more transparent so all passengers can see and understand the policy.

Thank you for the information! It does make sense. I have sailed with Princess many times and also wondered if priority is given to Elite passengers that are sailing in the category below the up sell category?
