I received the following reply from the Bermuda Corona Virus Hotline today, 13 June, at 3:07 pm (PDT):

”The reduction in testing time for pre-arrival tests has not come into effect yet.  We are expecting this to be announced later this week.

Please check local media and www.gov.bm for the updates as they will be made public Iand the website will reflect the changes.”

My question was related to where Bermuda has made the information available that defines how many days in advance we can get our PCR tests, and when will the requirement change?

It is is 9:00a.am. Monday morning. We leave for Bermuda in exactly 17 hrs. and

HAVE HAD NO REPLY FROM OUR BERMUDA APPLICATION FORM??

They say it is pending. Now what do we do?

Who sent you down the VeriFly rabbit hole?   Bermuda isn't one of the destinations it works with.  Here's the link from AA's site.

To answer your question "who sent us down that rabbit hole" it was an email we received last night from Viking telling us we must follow their direction and fill out the form .

Oh, what a mess. we still can't do it.

Not to sound extreme, but shame on Viking for the way your concerns were addressed.  The response seems callous & cavalier. I'm still in the working world & not from the multi-generational trust fund set, so the money I spend on my cruise passion doesn't come from unlike tap. My TA was trying to get clarification about the Verifymon & BermudaTravel Authorization PCR test, said the Viking agent was of no help . I'm loosing patience with the shore side operation.

Good Grief !! ONE HOUR with my engineer husband trying to do VeriFly No Luck/ Could not do it. Called Viking-NO HELP-Called VeriFLy-NO HELP- but

they did say its a new app & only working on American airlines at the moment

it's been one hour of frustration. Has anyone else had a problem ??

Under Guest Information on My Viking Journey is a drop down where health survey will be posted.

We are flying Jet Blue from Boston.
Airline requires Covid test on return, but still researching if test is required on departure.
Supervisor did not mention Covid test needed for airline departure .Guess it depends on the individual airline.

we are also on the Jet Blue flight out of Boston. We were told that we need PCR (only) test within 3 days of the flight. Bermuda would no accept an ABBOTT MOLECULAR TEST that our Dr. here in Cohasset would give us. The Bermuda web site says if travel is after June5 you must have test within 3 days. Also the Viking TA just told me we would be charged $75.00 per person when we fill out their form they will send us.. which is to cover the arrival Bermuda test.

Finely booked the excursion by calling Viking directly. The web site kept going down.

    Hoping to see you soon

According to a recent article, NCL (NCL, Oceania and Regent) is in the process of putting all their ships but one into cold storage.  That tells you when they think cruising will restart given the long lead time to bring a ship back on line from cold storage.

What is the source of your "Recent Article" Sounds like "fake news" to me. I think news like that should  include the source before scaring people

Tee shirts showing beer commercials, long ago rock concerts, and just visited islands.

Sweat pants, joga pants, men in capris, and rumpled very casual jeans.

Men in standard flip flops, not even a dress sandal, just flip flops.

Does a polo shirt that doesn’t cover the man’s belly button, when standing, count as “ country club casual “?

Having been on many O ships , I have personally seen several times when people have been turned away at the main dining room entrance because they were  not dressed appropriately.

Therefore I cannot imagine what ship "pinotlover" was on !!

I guess you will be easier to have an answer if you post this in the boards of "Destinations - Asia" next time.

    Ocean Terminal

    > walk to Tsim Sha Tsui metro station

    > Tsuen Wan Line (red line) then change to Kwun Tong Line (green line)

    > arrive Diamond Hill metro station

    > walk to Nan Lian gardens

    Ocean Terminal

    > take Bus 973 near the cruise terminal

    > arrive Aberdeen Promenade / Waterfront

    > the sampan pier is directly inside the park

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you

Oceania no longer permits people (or TAs) to book consecutive cruise segments for you (each with a separate booking number, i.e., "back-to-back" cruiseS)

Instead, they market/publish two or more consecutive cruise "segments" (with a single booking number and unique name) as "extended journeys" with a discounted total price.

In the event that you want to book two or more consecutive segments, which are not officially published/marketed as "extended journeys," a "custom cruise," also with a single booking number and similarly discounted total cost, will be assembled for you.

There are some other pluses beyond the discounted cabin cost (but also the occasional minus) regarding certain perks with these multi-segment cruises. The bottom line deal will be based on interrelated conditions (cruise length, air credit, O Club Credits/SBC, restaurant reservation times, etc) and it can get a bit complicated though the overall value math is doable in terms of determining "great deal"'or not.

Nonetheless, if you want the consecutive segments, no matter whether "extended journey" or "custom cruise," you cannot book two (or more) separate cruises with individual booking numbers (which Oceania would consider "back-to-back" cruises).

We just booked 3 consecutive segments of the 2020 world cruise starting in Santiago Chile and ending in Capetown South Africa and have separate booking numbers for each segment. So the policy may change depending on the voyage.

QUOTE=CRUISERTN;20441084]Wondering if anyone has recenours for an overnight tour while in Egypt? Will be using them in a few months and was wondering if someone could give a review of how their recent tour was with them. I have read many posts from people who are booked with them for upcoming excursions, but not from anyone who has actually used them recently. Did you visit everything as planned? Any info will be most appreciated.
