  1. Hey , just wondering when filling out the health control form for Spain  as to destination ...is the cruise ship and address of port  sufficient  or do i check box on website that Spain is not final destination    ...as been in transit .

Just spoken with MSC and the reps response was exactly as post #155 - antigen or PCR within 48 hrs. The rep admitted that things have evolved over the last few days but that they have been advised in the last day or two that the website is correct and they should advise passengers accordingly. He was unsure if a further email - superseding the Sept email - will be issued. He was pretty convincing tbh (and good humoured about the confusion over the last few days). I’m going to cancel my PCR tests n go with the antigen versions (as we can’t organise PCRs with the new 48 hrs timeframe). Sorted - I hope!!

ITS so frustrating , I just emailed Msc Germany ( long story ) whom i have a cruise booked on Seaview for the end of the month and they replied

As you are coming from a non Schengen country you have to fulfill the following requirements in order to be allowed on board:

    - being fully vaccinated

    - a PCR Test that is not older than 72h at the time of embarkation

Someone posted the info about a place in Dublin that does the PCR for €69 per test (Boots Chemist is charging €139 here!) so I’ve booked it there.  I wouldn’t be the type to leave it til the last minute (such as getting it done at the airport).

According to the website, you can have both PCR and antigen tests done onboard.  It doesn’t indicate the charge, but there’s bound to be one, unless, in the case of an antigen test, it’s required at the port of disembarkation.  We had one done on NCL, without charge, last month because Barcelona required it.

Randox laboratories are doing PCR tests for 59 euro , they have several places in dublin

just looking at insurance now but bit confused as to what we need?

is it normal cruise cover but also Covid-19 on top, i've got quotes for around £35 bit not sure if that's the right cover

any advice appreciate and we are UK passengers

We have our normal travel insurance but we also took out MSC  covid insurance @ 25  euro. From what i believe any insurance will do once it includes covid cover.

  5. Have taken out covid insurance with mcs for upcoming cruise later this month on Seaview , just wondering is the pdf of insurance policy sent is the actual policy or is is there one emailed with the cruise tickets .
