  1. We just booked an 11 day Panama Canal Cruise for March 2020 and purchased the cruise line insurance at the time of booking because they offer cancel for any reason up to sail date. That was important for family reasons. In checking with other travel insurance companies the rates for cancel for any reason was so much higher. The cruise lines medical coverage is not as much however. We may purchase some additional medical emergency coverage before cruising. Also, the cruise lines insurance doesn’t go up by age.

  2. We purchased the cruise line’s insurance because of the cancel for any reason up to time of sailing and receive a 90% reimbursement. This was due to a family situation.

I had looked at other plans but when adding cancel for any reason the price was really high. Thought we would take the cruise line insurance and just add a bit of coverage. ?? maybe there was a more cost effective way. The cancel for any reason had to be purchased with the cruise booking.

  3. We are in our late 60’s and have booked travel insurance with the cruise line, however we’re thinking about adding some extra emergency medical insurance and medical evacuation. The cruise lines coverage in those areas are a bit low. Any advice on getting this coverage? Thanks for any input.

  4. We’re looking at a Panama Canal Cruise in March and had a couple of questions.

Has anyone had a cabin on deck 10 and is it noisy being near the Crowsnest?

Any tips or advice on the Panama Canal sailing?
Thanks for any advice or information!

  5. we're really hoping to get Vibe passes! Plan to arrive about 9 A.M. We are on deck 14 ( spa balcony) forward and board Terminal C. Can anyone give us the route to Guest Services from where we might board? Thank you for any input or advice!!
  6. Sailing this Sun. on Nieuw Amsterdam. I see the package only includes alcohol drinks up to $7. If the drink is more do you pay the difference? Is there a premium package or is $7 top price for a drink? Does anyone know a site for drink prices?? Thank you!
