I was sold on getting the drink package for myself when our friends told us yesterday they spent $800 on alcohol for a 4 day cruise and they didn't get the package.

Non drinker here, wondering if I should order the $20 package. Anyone know how much 375 litres of sparkling water or a cup of premium coffee cost on board? Also if you preorder bottles of juice is there a selection to choose from? First timer on RCL and first time ocean cruising in many years.

Yes, we did that once for a Majesty cruise. Worked out well for us, we were outside the airport waiting for our shuttle 5 minutes after the plane got to the gate. All I remember from the Miami airport is lots and lots of walking. There are several shuttle services that will take you to the Port of Miami from FLL.

Excellent - that's what I'm scheduled to be on is the Majesty - do you recall the cost of the shuttle service to the port?

Question along those lines - it seems quite a bit cheaper to fly into Ft. Lauderdale than Miami for a cruise- have people done this before for going on a Miami based cruise?

Being a new member here I really enjoyed seeing all the pics and your comments - it helps me knowing what to expect!
