  1. We use Air2Sea at least to get TO the cruise. We go on the airline websites and check for flight times we want, then book through Air2Sea. They have alwAys been great. Last February, we were supposed to fly from NY to Texas, with a connection in Chicago. There was a blizzard heading towards Chicago. We called and they changed the flight at no charge to us.

On the return trip, the captain informed us we'd be late getting into Galveston due to fog. My DH called Air2Sea from Liberty....they changed our flight to the following day and booked a hotel room, at no extra charge to us.

  2. Reading a number of different threads, so I apologize if this has been said, but I saw you posted the 10 drink offer.....was that on day four? We typically purchase the ultimate drink package, but did not get it for our upcoming cruise since we have free soda and a decent amount of OBC.

  3. Love Oasis class, so I'm coming along! President's cruise always sounds fun, but my husband has to pick his vacation weeks 1+ year in advance, so we already have other plans when they announce the dates of the Pres. Cruise (or do they leak info to higher C&A members earlier). We're only D+ in training). Also, I feel you about the wrong side of the elevators on Deck 7....I believe we were on 7 twice. You'd think we'd learn!

  4. We're doing this itinerary end of October, so I'm looking forward to following...I don't know if I could book four days out...oh, the anxiety! Love Allure...October will be our fourth time, although it's been a few years. Doing a land vacation in Florida in a couple of weeks...planned on Lido Key, Sarasota, but Red Tide has totally taken over...disappointed, but switched to Kissimee..hey, it's vacation. Haven't been on CC as often. I'll have to find your Alaska review since that's a 2020plan for us. Safe travels

  5. Dolphin push, pull, swim through cruise was awesome. You also pet a manatee and have enough free time to see the sea lion show and swim for a bit. It's a pricey excursion, but well worth the money. Yes, if you want photos you must buy theirs, but I planned ahead of time to select just one to purchase.

  6. Thank you for the review. We love Oasis class, have been on Allure 3X, Oasis once and Harmony 2X. Returning to Allure in October, so your review helps with my excitement. Happy your wife's luggage arrived in time. I always mix our bags for that reason. My husband, like you, is fine with shorts and a couple of T shirts, but me? I'm six feet tall and wear a size 11 shoe-- not so easy to just buy a few things on the ship if my luggage never arrives.

  7. My husband, always a value seeker, has researched many other vacations, including all inclusive and seems to arrive at the same conclusion...a cruise is the best value. We love the main dining room. It's like eating out every night. Also, we enjoy all the entertainment, which is no extra charge. Yes, chair hogs annoy me, but I don't get involved in those threads since I know there will always be inconsiderate, selfish people. The kind, considerate people far outweigh the negative. We own a timeshare, which we use, also. But no one makes our beds, gives us towel animals, cooks our meals or provides free entertainment there. Plus, I LOVE the water...swimming, snorkeling, sailing or just gazing out from our balcony.

  8. I can get into the site if I use my desktop and go through chrome, but I cannot get into the cruise planner. I wanted to check my calendar for our May cruise on Anthem, and I like to keep checking the planner to see if entertainment has opened for our October Allure cruise---sometimes it has opened early, but i cannot check because I can't get into the planner! Keep getting an error.

  9. My viewpoint is that you "lucked out". You didn't have to lug the block home from the Liberty (although if you drove to the cruise this point is moot).

Now they will ship it to your home and you can open it and enjoy it so much more easily. :)

Oh, and forget email. Call them. Much easier. 800-526-9723

Oh, I agree! We flew and I didn't want to lug it!

  10. Thank you to everyone for your replies. Since I left work early due to the snow in Orange County, New York, I emailed C&A. If I don't hear back, I will call to follow up. In the future, I will be sure to bring documentation and speak with the LA on the ship.

  11. We hit 140 points on the final day of our Liberty cruise in February. Will Royal ship the crystal block to us, or will we get it when we go on Anthem at the end of May? Our first night on Anthem will be #141. OR do I have to call the C&A number?
