The premium plus package is usable at the Cellars Wine Bar. There are certain wines that will be included and you may drink them by the glass. You can have as many glasses as you wish though. With the plus package, you can purchase bottles of wine for 40% off of the posted price. This is on any bottles that are sold here or elsewhere on the ship.

    Thanks!

I can answer the party part of your question.  There should be several late evening (10:30 P.M. dance parties including a Glow Party (Neon colors replace White Hot Party).  Which parties are held and which venue is up to the Cruise Director.  Check your Freestyle Daily for exact information.

On NYE there should be celebration parties all over the ship.  Most very crowded and noisy.  Check your Freestyle Daily for more information.

I do not drink so I do not know which beverage package covers what.

    Enjoy your cruise

    Thank you!

  3. Does anyone know what parties they have on the Escape. Wondering if there are any theme parties like a white party etc. Also wondering if anyone has sailed NCL over New years eve and if so do they have a big party?

Wondering if the Premium plus beverage package covers wine at the cellar wine bar and if so is it limited to certain wines and just by the glass. Thanks for any info!

Geddy's was very tasty and they have varieties that include mayo, hot butter and hot garlic butter.  I am headed on a canada/new england cruise next week and we plan to check out Bar Harbor for a lobster roll.  We have also had one in Halifax last summer, but it was mayo and I do not recall the restaurant name.but I think it was McKelvie's Delishes fishes dishes.

Thank you! Hope you have a great cruise. If you find any great ones let me know. I leave on Sept 16th

Try Neptune Oyster in the North End of Boston for the best hot buttered lobster roll. And their New England clam chowder is out of this world. Neptune Oyster was on the New York Times best restaurant list last year. The North end is Boston’s Little Italy.  While you are there, pick up a cannoli at Mikes Pasty!  Easy to take a cab or Uber there from the port.

    Thanks! Sounds good

Several restaurants in Bar Harbor have both the traditional cold mayo lobster roll and the warm butter Connecticut roll. I saw a few while perusing restaurants.

So many places to choose from!

Sorry, a lobster roll is lobster mixed with a bit of mayo served on a split hot dog bun. That other sandwich is something else. You might find one in Newport, but it will be tough to find one in Maine.

I've looked at several restaraunts in bar Harbor that say tradional and also hot buttered, but not all have both. Just wondering if anyone had any favorite spots

  8. Hello, We are going on a Canada/NE cruise in September. I have never had a lobster roll and really want to try a few really good ones. I don't think we want the ones with mayo so looking for places that have good hot butter ones! We will be in Newport RI, Boston, Bar Harbor, Sain John and Halifax. Would love any 1st hand experience and photos would really be a plus! Thanks

We rented a driver for the entire day.  There were 4 of us @$30 each.  Did some shopping some sight seeing and then had him take us to the nice beaches of Sosua to spend a few hours.

Did you have this scheduled before the cruise or did you just get off the ship and find someone to take you? There are 6 of us going in October and are trying to decide what to do. Thanks!

  10. Hi, I am trying to understand the covid testing for the land tour and cruise. I know we need a negative test within 2 days of the land tour. On Celbrity's website it says to bring an emed test kit to take before the cruise or they will have them for a cost. Does anyone know what they are charging for those tests? Just wondering how it is all working. Thanks for any info.
