I have cruised with my dw on different cruise lines and a lot on Princess. We were on the maiden TA on the Royal and accidently sat in the piazza among some negative cruisers. One man was very vocal that his pasta was too wet. After listening to all the negativity I could not help but say to my dw "aren,t we fortunate that they named 2 shipsRoyal and we are on the good one". Silence from the group. We recently did TA on regal and one woman at breakfast complained that she had to reach behind her for the toilet tissue. I mentioned to her if that was her problem to take another roll, take off cover and put roll on counter. Her reply to me was that she would not have anything to talk and complain about.

To all these complainers, why not stay home and allow other potential cruise passengers to take a happy cruise.

Book your cruise, enjoy, relax and ignore all this negativity.

I would expect that just as many if not more would prefer the fees to a increase in the base fare. At least with the fees you have the option to use the service and incur the fee or not, just as with many existing fees and services offered.

 

why should we pay $ 50.00 increase per cruise ($100.00 per couple or $200.00 per family of 4 ) to please a small number of passengers. if I wanted to go to alfredos as in the past,I went one time each on past cruises . even if they recinded it would have cost $20.00 as opposed to $100.00 . at that moment I would have made the decision go or no. the econ. are there. we never have room service. if you use it be prepared to pay for it.

just came off the emerald --yes and a very good buffet too

when was the last time that you were at a hotel and asked for "room service" and signed for the bill and got shell shocked . $3.00 is a nominal price to pay for this service. we are going to be on the Regal on the TA in October and if they are charging $10.00 for Alfredos it will be up to me if I want to eat there or not. Please do not raise the prices of the cruise as we are getting a bargain as charged. I have never walked around starving on any of my cruises (about 50 at this time)
