Sounds like another adventure but not a scary one like loosing Tarik on your Serenade cruise. I doubt if anything could be as frightening as that day was for you.

I love reading about your port adventures, especially the oops we made a wrong turn and here is how to avoid them reports. I know that others, myself included will benefit from your wonderful directions.

I am looking forward to joining you and the family on your cruise so please teach Tarik how to do the laundry and all your other chores so you can start your review. Please, pretty please.

Stef, check your suitcases for the sea bands, it is where I usually find the "lost" travel items since it is usually the last place I look after buying replacement items.

Love this review of your Serenade cruise. I will be on her for a transatlantic from Boston to Copenhagen April 2015 followed by a Sept 2015 Explorer Med cruise with many of the stops you made on this trip. Best of both worlds for me.

I enjoy reading your family stories and I especially love that you tell your travel mistakes and how to correct them. I am taking notes since my travel companions and I will most likely be doing our own thing at most ports just like you did.

Have a wonderful vacation and I look forward to reading all about it. Ireland and Scotland are beautiful.

FYI - new BOGOHO sale starts today. My cruise went down about $1500. You know I will be calling my TA to morning to add a

friend to my solo cabin.

What happens to your price (the original single person price)?

Bob, It is repriced as a new booking for two. When I booked during the BOGOHO I was told the price for adding a second person in the cabin before final payment was just the additional taxes/port fees, trip protection and gratuities. When I called last week I was told the entire booking for two would be almost double the single fair I had booked. When I checked on line yesterday the fare increased an additional $300 for two since last Friday.
