i was on the ship the sailing before you. we were a group of 10 - with 4 grand kids. ages 11,14,14,& 16. all loved the ship. we missed the ship so much i book a 5 night cruise for my wife and her sister for October 1. they will be staying in an inside cabin and would like to know what you thought of them compared to the balcony cabin?

thanks for all the help i will look for 2 used phones with the correct operating system. I think it still will be cheaper to buy 2 used iphones instead of 10 walkie talkies.

we will be doing the 9 day cruise on July 28 so i have a while to find a good deal on used phones.

thank you for the quick reply. I have downloaded the application to my current ipad but could not find any operation system restrictions. So ia am still not clear if it will work on the iphone 3's, or the iphone 5's.

I do have 2 - iphone 3's, and 2 iphone 4's. these are not in use an inactive. does anyone know if i can use them on the anthem-- with texting. I do not have a problem paying $15 for each phone as long as we can text one another. the cost of walkie talkies is more then that

your cell phone works on the ship. but the rental of cell phones that only work on the ship is no longer available. Which is a shame, we just got back from the first cruise of the Anthem and loved the ship. Will be going again in July with grand kids and would have loved to have those phone available. One of the best options on them was the ability to know where the phone was. using the gps on your own phone does not specifically tell you where the person was. The ship phones told you where they were, arcade, boardwalk, teen center, etc. but RC has done away with them. Cost for use of wifi is $15 per day.

I used these phones in June 2014, i am going on another family trip on the Quantum, and can not find any information regarding these. They were a great deal, having 4 tean agers, it was great to know where on the ship they were.

THANKS FOR THE INPUT. I am looking to start booking as it will be our 50th wedding anniversary. That is what my DH wants. Since i have fallen in love with cruising this was a an easy item. I am also possibly looking at booking the quantum from NJ in October of 2015. lots to do now that i am retiring in Dec.

thanks for the information. We are still new to cruising. we have taken one carnival (did not like it) and 4 RC. i have just booked one HAL for the jazz cruise and one more RC on the OASIS - for 2 weeks after we return from the jazz cruise. Have never been on PC - CORAL?

i am looking to book a cruise for a partial transit panama canal cruise. not sure what cruise line to use. there are only a few leaving from FLA. ANYONE have gone on either coral princess or norwegian pearl? have heard both pros and cons
