That was my life partner who got the woven fronds. That was a fun day even with the breakdown.

We took the tour in Nov. 2015. We had a great time. The guides were so nice and interesting. There was no 30 minute stop at the store. We had a minor break down and had a new van in 15 minutes. We broke down by the ocean so it was so hard to wait-ha-ha. We had a great lunch and we were entertained by the Junkanoo folks. Being a retired teacher the stop at the school was great. The 3rd graders sang Christmas carols and their national anthem. We have been to the private island umpteen times and we wanted to see what was beyond the gates. We are so glad we took this tour and would highly recommend it.

We were on the 29 day South Pacific last Oct. Yes we had an extra day! We took a small folding 4 shelf hanger that was great for extra clothes and all our stuff! Don't forget lots of bug spray and make sure you have some with at least 40% deet for some of the islands. Lots of sunscreen is a most! It was a great cruise with a very active roll call. Have fun!

Does anyone know how far the Amtrak station is from the port? We are taking a train after we leave the Emerald. Thanks!

We were on the 28 day Hawaii/ South Pacific cruise last Oct. We gifted each other casino credits and it was a great way to get cash. You go to the casino with the voucher and they give you your cash with a good luck and thank you. We did this on a B2B and we got a call the last night of the first cruise and we were told we had to cash the vouchers in. They were not valid on the next cruise. We just put the money in the safe with no problems. Next time we do a B2B we will spread it for both cruises.

We just ordered (Amazon) Clorex Bleach Free hand sanitizer. We have used this on many cruises and vacations. They also make a hard surface wipe that will attack noro! I also travel with a can of Lysol to make the cabin clean and fresh. Hope this helps.

We are on the Crown Princess in Oct. and we are trying Wings over Kauai for a flight seeing tour of the canyon. They have small planes for the tour. Our ship has free shuttle to Anchor Cove shopping center where they will pick us up for our flight. The flight is also cheaper then a chopper!!! Hope this will be of help to your planning.

Hi! I do not like helicopters so we found Wings over Kauai a flight seeing company. Please check out their website. Our cruise is not until Oct. so I have no reviews. You take the free shuttle to Anchor Cove Shopping Center and they meet you there. We plan on coming back and going to the beach for the rest of the day. Have fun!
