Stalking strangers is child's play when we're talking about fried dough and powdered sugar. I pity the fool that stands between me and that.
Best response ever! I'm right there with ya!

Oh ok! Thank you for your service and reply

Thank you.
This is what I do for a living. I'm well trained in verbal judo, deescalation tactics, negotiating, and lastly, use of force.
With all of my training and experience even I am very hesitant to Armchair Quarterback. No two situations are the same and no situation is perceived the same by two different Officers.
I liked your response as well! What is verbal judo? So like a good tongue lashing! Lol! That may be 1 sport I could be good at! Lol

Awesome!
We're on the same sailing and daily vloggers.
We will be vlogging the whole trip, but I won't be posting the videos till after we return. DH is strictly against purchasing internet packages, we like to feel disconnected.
Were excited, we're leaving for Florida Friday morning a little early for some a bonus sunshine. We're staying on the beach though, not at the port hotels. We did last cruise and didn't find the cab too bad in the morning.
Hope you enjoy the cruise!
whats your channel so we can find the vloggs?

I just bought a cute little slim cross body bag from Marshalls for around $17. I like the ones that aren't bulky and have a zip pocket in the back(close to the body) then a main pocket. I like to keep it slim so its not to bulging. It also nice to take into port, carries my sea pass card, id, phone and a little cash.

Yes, obese. I don't sugar-coat it when it comes to my old weight issue. I wasn't overweight, I was obese. I wasn't fluffy, I was obese. I don't know what the big issue is. If you want, I can say "when I was fat" because I was that, too. I'm not referring to anyone but myself. I do not understand why someone would be offended for my truthfulness.
I love how you worded this. I am a fat girl :p I will say that about my self. I think some just find the word obese :confused:almost as bad as a cruse word lol. I don't think that some realized that you were talking only about you and not anyone else.
As for plus sized clothing... I love Lane bryant, Woman within has some nice dresses for cruises. I love the shorts from Old Navy plus. Avenue is also a good one. I have been looking at asos plus and thinking about ordering a few things from there as well. Good luck and let us know what ya find.

Hi all! New to this board! Just found it and thought I would say hello!
-
I do not have the kyss bag, but several years ago I had a similar issue. Was between a tote that was 12 and one that was 14. I wanted it to fit my laptop and college textbooks, the 12 inch high one was a half inch smaller so I opted for the 14. For me, it ended up feeling more like luggage than a tote because it was so big and awkward. The tote I have is an inch wider than the medium bag.
If it is just you two I would go with the medium.
You can also test size with cardboard if you have it. DH laughs at me but if we have a box hanging around I will cut it to the handbag size and tie/tape a piece of rope to it. Gives me an idea of how it will feel to carry and the size. (I don't worry about depth... just length and width.) The cardboard gives you an idea of how a packed bag will handle. It feels silly sometimes but it cuts down on the number of online purchases I have returned.
That is a great idea! i had never thought of that before! so gonna have to try it now

Andrew I have loved reading and watching your cruise. I can't wait until your next review. I love your style of writing, I felt like I was getting a free vacay!:D

I'll chime in here, as we've visited Labadee several times and we never get a cabana. They've taken the best beach and turned it into cabanas/suites only. Bummer.
I suggest going over to the Columbus Cove beach- it is a bit of a walk, maybe 7 minutes if you're moving quickly. There is also a tram there that you can hop on. That is the side of Labadee that faces the dock. The other side (where the zip line is overhead) is very rocky and not great to wade/walk out in.
My best advice: check to see if there are two ships in port the day you dock at Labadee (cruise cal dot com is a good place to check this). Hope that there is only your ship that day- otherwise the crowding is too much.
The day you arrive, get off as quickly as you can and head to the beach and secure chairs. There are locals/workers there to help you find or set up chairs in your preferred location- tip them a couple bucks.
Getting off the ship early ensures you can be in the shade/near the water/whatever your preference is. If you wait, there will be rows upon rows of chairs between you and the water.
Last bit of advice: do NOT bring cash or valuables ashore to Labadee. (Okay, maybe $20 if you plan to shop in the vendor areas). If you must have a cell phone with you, get a dry bag and keep it on you at all times, even when you head into the water.
Thanks for the info. I am very excited for my 1st visit there but have been wondering what it was going to be like. I didn't know if it would be like coco cay(which I love) or not. I have seen lots of people talk about Labadee but no one ever really says which place is the best or how big the area really is.
-
Hi Andrew! I was wondering if you could suggest an area at labadee for us folks who can't get a cabana? which areas seem less crowded and such. Also how far is it to actually walk around on the island? I have a bad back and wondered if I should just stick to the closest beach or not.

That's some amusing marketing info - great trivia to know (I'll pass it along as if I'm an authority)! :D
Regarding the t-paper... I see you too will photograph the odds and ends! Here's one of my favorites I spied on a Carnival ship... I trust the level at which they placed the image on that door was not intentional!
Now, back to the T-paper... For whatever reason (I'm sure it's a combination of price and dissolvability) that brand seems to be on virtually all ships. Several years ago we decided to add T-paper to our packing list. Ever since then Cottonelle comes along! Not to worry, it's also listed as septic "safe", and we've never had any clogging issues in dozens of sailings. And, just to add to the horseradish and t-paper items, we also bring our own facial tissues as well. Something about blowing your nose (with the stock stuff) and realizing it's just a bit too thin, not to mention rough with repeated use!
Creature comforts ! ! !
Tom
That picture of the bathroom door had me cracking up! oh my gosh what were they thinking with that!

Just caught the scope of cabin crawl. It looks so amazing. I missed the flow rider scopes hope you can do one again soon. Ive been tagging along virtually and having fun.

Yes, only in Coco Cay, but it is really noisy and seemed to take forever
yes that is so true!

Your welcome and thank you for the kind words. I sometimes look back upon this review and think of the what ifs but one can not live their life like that. It is best to remember the positives and never to forget the negatives.

That is so true. we are not meant to live our lives by "what if and should haves". :)

I was looking at the thread of some great pictures of Vision Of The Seas and especially of the OV Cabin. I am assuming that Enchantment is pretty much the same look correct??????
We are in a OV on the 3rd deck and some friends of ours (Two Single Ladies) who will be cruising for the very first time are sharing an OV a few doors down from us. On Enchantment (Vision Class) will we hear much noise above us on this deck??? We will be mid ship...do you feel much movement on that deck??? On other ships we are usually on the 9th deck hump.
Most of the Enchantment reviews I see are for the four day cruise, so on the 3 day cruise do they have The 70's Party, Quest, and Love and Marraige Game Show?
Is there a special menu on Formal night??? I know that lobster is only served on the longer cruises.
Will 1st time cruisers enjoy this ship for a 1st cruise????
Enchantment is a wonderful ship. I love her and can't wait to visit her again. I was on the 4th deck forward and it was loud when the anchor was dropping on port days. So if you are forward i would guess that 3rd deck would be just as loud when docking. JMO not unbearable but something to take note of if you like to sleep in. lol BUT not to worry you and your friends will love her and EOS was my 1st cruise and was the start to a wonderful addiction.:D

I enjoyed your review of this suite. I am very sorry for your loss but I am happy that you and your family have been able to learn what is important from your daughters illness and passing. Life is too short to worry about the bad stuff and wonder about the future, look at today as the biggest gift. This suite looks so amazing and I found it funny that y'all didn't find the fridge in the closet until days in. I bet the hot tub was amazing at night! Thanks for the pictures of a room that I can only dream about seeing one day.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Why in the world do take pictures of the signs, you ask? Well, for reference, for later of course. I like to know what I am looking at. I thought maybe you would too.
And here's me trying to all artsy fartsy with the local area ... Hey, I think its a very interesting picture.
I know I am late to the game on this review but I have been enjoying it a lot and I love your artsy fartsy picture!
