  1. Riclop, thanks for the suggestion, I have tried calling the main toll free number and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that I needed to be transferred to the person assigned to my reservation, in fact I was in the middle of telling the woman who answered my call to NOT transfer me, when she transferred me anyway.

Hopefully these are just minor delays and inconveniences from the call center and not a reflection on how the entire process will go.

    the countdown continues!!:)

  2. thanks for the response, we had not thought about needing to work with Italy.I guess we were concerned because we were told we would have a response more quickly than we have gotten one, and are finding it hard to get anybody to respond to our questions.

At the end of the day, we are sure that we will enjoy our cruise!

  3. We recently were contacted by our MSC Personal Vacation Consultant and offered an upgrade to the Yacht Club on the MSC Divina, sailing Thanksgiving week, for $50/person/day. After reading a number of the comments on the boards here, we decided to take advantage of the opportunity. Our MSC assigned consultant told us that we would have our new cabin assigned "in a coupe of days" and that the drink packages we had previously purchased would be refunded.

While we were billed for the upgrade immediately, it is more than two weeks later, no change online to our cabin assignment (although we can see that we have paid for an upgrade), no credit issued, and little to no response from our MSC consultant, in spite of repeated calls and emails.

This is our first cruise on MSC. Have any of you had similar issues with MSC's service? Our biggest concern is the lack of responsiveness from the company. Is this reflective of the service we will receive in general, or is this an isolated occurrence?

    Thanks for your help.
