we love beaches, and would love to windsurf....was there much of that going on? Paddleboarding to the motu"s for snorkeling,,is that possible?

wondering what you do all day if you dont go on excursions? I could splurge for the cruise, but adding on excursions would be a deal breaker for me. What is there to do all day while people take excursions? Are you able to tender to shore and bicycle around? Go to beaches? I really would love this trip but$$$$$...

trying to decide if I want to spend the extra $$ on paul gaugain. Windstar provides airfare, hotel one night before, transfers and 7 days for about 4400$ I'm not sure if the excursions are extra or not. I'd like to windsurf, I'm not sure if thats available. Alcohol is extra on windspirit, I believe. Does anyone have an opinion one way or the other?

have you heard anything else about the Sun? Im supposed to take it at the end of the month and I'm not finding many recent reviews about the trip from amsterdam to Basel. What have you heard?

from Amsterdam to Basel. What did you like, what didnt you like? I've been on avalon before and am concerned about the age of the Viking Sun. Would appreciate any comments you have.

I'm wondering if its possible to eat outside...if weather permits the dinners are long and I'd much rather be outside. Is this possible? also, any comments you have on the Sun or it's itinerary would be appreciated.
