So I had DH pull up the app on his phone, and he can use the app without issue and sees our voyage. I still cannot select dining reservations. But there is definitely an issue with my id since I cannot even see the journey.

On a recent cruise, on the library table, there was a half completed jigsaw puzzle with a hand written sign on it that read "Do Not Touch". It was there for at least 3 days before someone crossed out the word "Not".
Sorry a puzzle on the table is free reign to work 🙂

I had that problem and it turned out that I had two different Medallion numbers assigned. Customer service merged them and then it worked.
I have 2 different accounts, but not medallion numbers. No idea what happened.

Weird. It should be the first thing you see under your picture when you click on "profile" on the intial page. May I suggest logging off and then logging back on with your next cruise's booking number, and then try clicking on Profile again. Other than that, I have no suggestions. BTW I'm using an iPhone.
Yeah I have tried logging out and back in, and even uninstalled and reinstalled. Still same issue. Under my profile picture includes an Add Journey button, but when I try to add my booking number, it says it is already added.

Are you logged on to the new app with your PCL userid/password or using the Booking number process?
Booking number. The user id doesn't work.

As I recall previously at the Elite level (and maybe Platinum?) dining reservations could be made immediately but for others it wasn’t until final payment.I am platinum, but still cannot see my journey in the app at all.

When should I see my cruise in the Journey section? We booked last week and not seeing anything yet. Not sure when I can start to book dining reservations as we like to have the same time and waiter every night. Cruise is not until August so I have time. I am also platinum which I believe gives us access to early reservations. TIA!

We did decide to go with the package because we are drinkers and frankly do not like the constantly having to sign for drinks. I will report back when we get back on what the deal was.

Wow the description online states premium bottles of wine...that's odd.
How often are the bars open on the river cruises? This is our first one so not sure what to expect. Tia!!

We are trying to debate on the SS package for our 25th wedding anniversary river cruise in May. It is $25 pp per night. What price of bottle of wine does it allow? I see that there is some nice champagnes on board, so would love to know if those are included. Thanks!

Hello, My husband and I are taking the Royal princess out of Sydney on a cruise tour, and thought we would come in a day early to check out the Taronga zoo. Heard they have the Wildlife retreat there, and thought we would stay there. What is the easiest way with luggage to get there from the airport and then back to the port? Our cruise tour includes a transfer from the airport to the port, but not sure that makes sense since we would have to go right by the port in order to get back to the airport. I was thinking Uber/Taxi to Taronga/Wildlife retreat, then a Uber/Taxi to the port the next day. Does this make more sense then going all the way back to the airport to catch our transfer? Thanks!

I must be the only person that thinks that drinking 15 glasses of anything a day is a lot of liquid.
I drink a ton of water a day, so 15 was not difficult on a sea day. We would order a mocktail and a bottle of water. Then later on in the day, a cocktail and a bottle of water. Doesn't take long to add up.

A question I never thought about before the 15 drink limit. If you buy the drink package and if you think you will exceed the 15 limit, can you just pay for the water or less expensive drinks outside of the package, so that they wouldn't count toward the total?
The quick answer is no, not until you have exhausted the 15 on your account was my understanding.

So in case there is any confusion, when Holland started cruising again in July 2021, the drink package has been updated to be 15 of any kind of beverage. You will be charged if you go over 15 drinks of any type (alcoholic or not). I personally think this is ridiculous as most people do not start with alcoholic beverages and therefore their cheapest drinks will be earlier in the day and therefore they charge you for the more expensive beverages after you hit 15. I was pissed when I found this out.

On our last cruise we had the ability of going up to the platinum lounge every day for special snack and drink prices. My mom said on her last cruise this changed to Elite only on the Sky Princess. Has this changed for all cruises or just on the really big ships? Appreciate the help. We are going on the Caribbean princess in May to the Caribbean and I would be very disappointed if we lost that benefit. TIA!

Actually it looks like we might try the dublin pass and do the hop on hop off bus. Gets us a lot more options and things to see, obviously we walk around too. Kind of excited about it too.
-
Thank you all. This has been super helpful. DH and I are working on getting in better shape for the trip, so we shouldn't have any trouble with a 10 mins walk anywhere! And looks like they are true sidewalks so should be able to push the wheelchair around without a problem.
-
Thank you for the info! that is helpful! Any chance you know if the roads are walkable with a wheelchair? If they are cobblestone or something, that might make it tough.

So my DH and I, potentially along with my parents, want to hit several sites in Dublin while there on our cruise. The time in port is from 7am to 9:30 pm. The sights we want to hit in Dublin are St Patricks, Guiness Storehouse, the Whiskey museum and the Temple bar, so these do not fit to a typical tour. I have the option of getting a private tour for $600 for 7 hrs so isn't too bad (but won't include entrance fees to the storehouse or st patricks), but was wondering if cabs are readily available and therefore cheaper for us to get around. My parents would probably only want to hang around with us for St Patricks and want to head back after that as my father is handicapped and cannot due a full day tour.
Appreciate the help.
Viking Paris to the Swiss Alps

Does anyone know what hotel we will be staying at in Paris? We are trying to figure out if we should do Versailles on our own or do the Viking tour. The viking tour is $199 pp and we can definitely do it cheaper and have a lot more time to explore the grounds if we do it on our own. Appreciate the assist. I noticed the excursions were open today (so much for that email notification), so want to get a jump on them.
