  1. Hey all. I will be on the breakaway next Sunday..traveling to Bermuda for my wedding. I wanted to book some spa services (a massage) as a surprise for two friends and myself the day of the wedding. I cannot find any prices or booking info online, does anyone have a spa services price sheet from a breakaway cruise?

  2. We are paying for the bus that will take us into NY so we are not paying for everyone's rooms. We might plan on paying the transportation to the port depending on how much it is. We were hoping to get a larger bus or van to keep everyone together on the way to the port. I really appreciate everyone's suggestions.

  3. Are you flying or driving? If you're driving, are you parking at the pier?

Tell me as much as you can about how you envision your trip. Hotel budget? Number of people/room? Type of beds? NY sightseeing plans? Arrival time?

Wow thank you so much for your suggestions! We will arrive in NY around 4pm on Saturday, and then Sunday we will head down to the NY port for the cruise. I am getting married in Bermuda so I will have a group of 16 of us taking a bus from Ohio to NY. We figured some couples would double up with a room with 2 beds so we planned on only needing 6 rooms for the group. I am not sure everyone's plans to sightsee on NY that night before the cruise. We had looked into hotels that were walking distance to sights in NY to make the evening more fun for the guests but they were way to expensive. I was looking for rooms $150 and under for the night. Price is our main concern at this point. The hotel has been the most complicated part of our planning!

  4. Hey all, cruising on the Norwegian Breakaway on July 26th out of NY. We are traveling with a group and would need 6 rooms. I know we are late in the game here, but can anyone recommend a cheaper hotel? We've done a lot of looking, and now we are more worried about price than location. Thanks!

  5. Hey there. I plan on getting my invitations out in the next week or so. That will be three months ahead of time, which I heard was good for a destination wedding. The cruise leaves July 26th so we put the rsvp date as July 1st. We figured anyone booking will have done it by then.

So far we have 10 rooms booked on the ship and 3 couples booked on the island.

My friends and family have been excited for the most part, but a little frustrated with the prices. Bermuda cruises are significantly pricier than Caribbean cruises so some had a hard time understanding why the room was so much...

  6. We aren't going through the cruise line because I really had my heart set on getting married on the island, and because we have people flying in that aren't taking the cruise.

When we were in Bermuda looking for a spot, we went "resort hopping", checking all of them out. As soon as we saw the reefs we stopped looking. The other resorts were soooo fancy, and mu finance and I are too laid back for such a place. The reefs is stunning! The views are seriously gorgeous! Good kick in where you decided to go with, let us know here what you pick! :)
