If you need a covid test onboard to enter a country, Windstar will do them onboard and charge you $69. For a port intensive cruise this could get very expensive.

They do cap it at a maximum of $250 per cruise ($199 on star collector voyages) regardless of how many tests are required for the itinerary.

  2. Thank you :) I'm glad you enjoyed my review ...

Since we came back, we've been dreaming about our next cruise, and we really don't mind if it's the same ship, same destinations ... it was that good! :) :D

Glad to hear it was a great trip!

Which, if any, ports did you have to bring your passport ashore?

And was there a specific number of days beyond sailing that your passport had to be valid and not expired?

    Thanks!

  3.
Mongolian Grill was up and running. I thought I would use it more...only ate there twice. Food was okay but nothing to get too excited over. The Chicken Kung Pao was pretty good.

The pannini sandwich window on the opposite side of the same deck had some good grilled sandwiches. The reuben was excellent.
that sounds as if you are talking about pc wok, not the mongolian grill
  4. In past years we have always used EZ and had no problems. This year, we forgot to book online and knew they'd be full so when my husband went to park the car after dropping us off at the curb, we thought he'd have to pay $70 to park at the Port of Galveston lots. Well, he drove right into Lighthouse and parked for $50 and their lot is very close and an easy walk to the pier. Cheaper and closer than EZ, I think we'll use them again.
