Yes, length of cruise must stay the same
THANK YOU!!

Regarding the Lift & Shift option, it states that the same itinerary type must be used. Since our current November 30, 2020 itinerary is a 5 Night Western Caribbean, is that what must remain the same?

Hi Weber! My husband and I are taking that same itinerary at the end of November for our 25th wedding anniversary. 2 years ago, we sailed on the Mariner of the Seas, and I believe Indy is its sister ship. Have a great time!

My husband and I booked a 5 day cruise for November 30, 2020. We are checking out the Voom Surf & Stream with 2 devices package. Is $95 ($19 per day) considered a sale?

Frankly, I suggested she cancel the 4 cabins that she booked for us this summer but she said she wanted the grandkids to enjoy the Perfect Day at CocoCay so didn't want to change lines.
And that right ^^^^^^ there demonstrates the high character of your MIL. Personally, I would have let my purse/wallet do the walking and switched lines.

The Concierge's "boss" is the Guest Services Manager. I would have spoken to him/her.
My thoughts exactly. And I would have spoken to the Guest Services Manager while on board. While it is not too late now that the OP is home, something like this should have been addressed immediately while on board.

Hello - my husband & I are considering the Marriott's BeachPlace Towers as a potential option for our pre-cruise stay next year (the Sunday after Thanksgiving). The only "negative" thing I have read is that you have to walk through the shopping mall, then take an elevator up 2 or 3 floors to the hotel lobby. Has anyone else stayed here before? Thanks in advance.

OK - we like the idea of more venues. And if it was 1,000 more passengers, we would not care LOL. Plus we will be in one of their Grand Suites.
Thank you!!

Hello everyone! My husband & I sailed on the MOTS in late November 2018 and are considering sailing on a 5 day itinerary on IOTS at the end of November 2020. We REALLY enjoyed ourselves on MOTS (our 1st RCCL cruise after cruising on Carnival & NCL). I understand these particular ships are not in the same class...but didn't they go through the same level of refurbishments and upgrades?

I am very grateful for this thread. We are currently on the Mariner of the Seas in Grand Suite 1256. Yin Tao (SL Concierge) is WONDERFUL!

Hello everyone! In the Grand Suites on the newly renovated Mariner of the Seas, are there wall-mounted shampoo dispensers inside the bathrooms? What about travel-sized bottled lotions?

Thank you for posting your experiences on the MOS!

if pinnacles don’t pay for a suite they shouldn’t have these amenities.
exactly!

I just had a meeting with several officers. I explained to them that the suite issues, room service issues and CK staffing issues are their fault and not the fault of the employees we are interacting with. If they don’t have proper training or support it is the fault of their officers.
^^100% Correct^^! Thank you for advocating for the employees.

This was the response from the Blog Moderator: "No announced changes for JS benefits."

Great Service Recovery!

And I just posted there asking about guests in Junior Suites.

Hi James. You can't post links here. Is that from the Royal Caribbean blog?
-
Personally, we are looking forward to tendering to an island (we have yet to experience this). And if we don't this year, no big deal;)
-
From what I hear the staff is thrilled to be welcoming 260+ pinnacles in a few weeks. Thrilled! Like they’re having a call about it thrilled.

I still pretend we are in the middle of the ocean with no access to the outside world.
Me too!

Having done several of both, the weekenders are way different

No matter what cruise line you patronize, weekend cruises will typically (but not always) have a "different" flavor to them versus 4 day and above. Our first cruise (Husband, Daughter & Me) was a weekender in late May 2015. We all found the drunk folks to be hilarious (at least they were HAPPY drunks :')), and we did not allow them to interfere with our fun and relaxation. Of course, my husband has a similar demeanor as gammite. The way that you conduct yourself in public and in private will always speak first and louder.

Wow...I wonder what the "committee" members were smoking when they came up with those names:confused:...

PatMunits, those are great ideas (especially the cruise-to-nowhere temporary option)!
