  1. Anyone wanna help a sister out who is about to travel on the fascination? I have a question for the cafe people but I'd like an answer BEFORE I go on the cruise. lol. Id like to know if I order 20 or so of these (I have a big group coming) if the cakes can be put on a cake stand like this and brought out (I'd assume carted out) during our assigned dinner time.

If so, do they have a stand or do I need to bring one?

Is there a way to order this before or do I need to wait to board?

  2. I would bring premade formula if I was you. If that's what the baby is used to then it'll be easier on the tummy. Plus who wants to try and sterilize bottles the entire trip? I'd carry the formula on. That way you don't have to worry about any questioning and if there are questions you are right there to handle it.

I also didn't know there was a family board! Good to know!

  3. Thank you!

I understand a lot of people won't get off the ship, but since there are 1000s of people I didn't know if it would take an hour or two to get everyone off.

Same with getting back on. I didn't know if we needed to be back at the docks at like 4 if the ship leaves at 6.

  4. First time cruiser questions-

Cruising on the Fascination Oct 19 with the first stop in Nassau. Wondering how long it usually takes to get everyone off the ship? We come in at 9.

Next question- it says we leave again at 6. What does that mean? Everyone needs to be coming back to the ship at that time or what time do we need to get back there to get in line to board? I have no idea how long it takes to get away one on.

  5. We are having a wedding on board the Fascination. While I know there is a wedding board I feel that this question is something more of you can help me with. We are doing a 5 day sailing and I know there will be different activities each day on board the ship. It's my understanding that a schedule is delivered to your room the night before so that you can plan the next day. HOWEVER, is there not some sort of vague schedule I can find? I mean I don't need to know who the exact performers are and ect. But I would like to plan out specific events for our group to do during the week and have them typed out in their welcome packages that I will have in each other their rooms. Surely there is a way to accomplish this?

  6. The max time carnival allows for a reception is 2 hours. What are you ladies doing to get around this? That seems so short! Are you just scheduling for your guest to go to another event together afterwards? Are you just planning a reception through the "event planning" section of the ship so that you can make it longer? Or are you doing something entirely different?

  7. Ok so I am trying to search ALLLLLL of my options for our wedding. We are sailing oct 19 on the carnival fascination. I'm looking at booking with the cruise line vs booking with an island planner. If I do an island planner I can still schedule a reception back on board. Still looking into my options further I found out we can order a cake and champagne toast to be delivered in the MDR that night at our scheduled dinner. The only downer to this is you can't get a tiered cake. You can get a HUGGGEE sheet cake. But not tiered. The event olanner told me we can bring our own cake on board.

Has anyone brought their own cake or plan on it?

Anyone using their own island planner?

Anyone skipping ordering the hour reception and just doing a reception at dinner and then planning an after party event at one of the clubs?

  8. First time cruiser here. We have a wedding scheduled to cruise the Fascination on Oct 19. We want to have a scheduled day for our friends/family the day of the wedding. I can find the island excursions but I can't find any info on show times, formal nights, etc on the ship. Am I missing something?
