  1. It is one arcade package per stateroom, they expect it to be shared by everyone in the stateroom.

NCL will put it on one person's key card and it's that card that needs to be swiped (you choose who).  I'd put it on an adult's card since the 8 year old may not be going to the arcade/O'Sheehan's by himself?

  2. I just got off the Escape on Wednesday and had the arcade package for our stateroom.  Totally worth it for us (2 adults and 2 kids).  I, too, was worried about how many green swipes there were.  You get a list of what is covered and what is not when you go to the casino.  Any game in which you can win tickets is NOT included i.e. skeetball (our favorite, but only $1.14).  We played air hockey, basketball, all arcade video games (Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Guitar Hero).  It also included green swipe games in O'Sheehan's:  pool, Mario, a "hunting" game.  These ranged in price between $1.70 to $3.  It does not include bowling (~$6 pp).

We had some bad weather to/from Bermuda and spent a lot of our time indoors.  I would say take the cost and divide by the length of your trip to get a per day average and decide if it makes sense for you.  We definitely used more than the $23 per day it cost us.  Hope this helps!

  3. My wife and I are getting on the Epic during the Rome port stop. I understand most of the guests board in Barcelona several days earlier. When do we do the lifeboat drill or do we get out of it (can only hope).

    Thanks

I did this itinerary last September and there is a drill. Everyone boarding in Civi met in the theater after the announcement. The cruise director introduced some staff, it was short and actually quite funny. Enjoyed it more than the usual drills I've had.
