I hope to write a book this winter. Money is an issue for me. My hope is that I can book passage on some sort of vessel for 120+ days for $80 US per day or less. So far my searching has found several freighters at about $120 US per day.

I don't much care where I am floated to or past. I just want time to write. My meals being cooked and a place to sleep and write are all I really need. I am in good enough physical condition to be able to do the stairs on a freighter and I am within the age requirements.

Are there such cruises out there. I hope someone will be able to point me in the write direction.

On another forum someone said there are regular cruise lines that can be found at $80 a day. I have yet to come close to that.

Help me out here if you have information about longer inexpensive cruises.

While I am waiting I will read some of the other posts.

I would like to write a novel this winter. I figure a good way to have meals made for me and a place to work with little distraction would be on board a freighter. Money is an issue. I am looking for a freighter cruise of more than 120 day length that costs $80 or less a day. Anyone have any Idea?
