Also, no more C&A swag... I miss getting a tote bag or ball cap.

One of the things eliminated that I miss is the upgraded toiletries.

I am loyal to Royal, but in this case, I would go NCL. First of all I like the extra port day, especially considering it is Grand Cayman! I also prefer Ocho Rios to Falmouth.

I am so excited to read a great review. I'm taking my BF on his first cruise over Labor Day Weekend! My first cruise as an adult was on Sovereign of the Seas in 2003 (before they "repaired" the clock during dry dock) and I can't wait to sail on her sister ship!
We are very laid back easy going people so I'm not worried about anything. Glad to be reassured by your review though.
Is Schooner popular in the evenings? That was always my favorite bar when I sailed Sovereign. Great service and casual atmosphere.
Another question, your honest opinion about dress for dinner in MDR. He wants to wear jeans as that makes him comfortable and I'm not sure about that.

Radio, thank you so much for taking time from your vacation to share with us! The one thing I would love to know is if Allan Brooks will be the CD on the Sept 13th sailing. He is my favorite CD and I'd love for him to be on our next cruise.

My vote is for Allen Brooks! He was so funny and approachable, and I loved the kick thing he did at the end of every activity he was hosting.
Second would be James Andrew, he reminded me of Allen Brooks in some ways.

I lost mine once before onboard, and still blame my husband, but Guest Relations issued me a new one with no problem. Now if you are out at a port and lose the card, it might be a bit harder.

It's so funny that the M/S Southward was my first cruise as a kid! Wow have the ships changed..

It is not the stateroom attendants responsibility to take of. Food and beverage is a completely separate department. Call room service for a pick up
