We had a cove balcony on Magic & prefer a more open balcony. I did enjoy the water view, I did enjoy the ease of returning to stateroom after returning to this ship from a port stop, but I prefer the openness of an AFT balcony over any other. Trying cove balcony on a B2B & disliking it might be a mistake...then again, you might love it as so many others do!

We've been on Pride 2X with a third booked for October 2020. We love this ship. Comfortable to navigate, convenient for us to drive to. David's Steakhouse is excellent.

Thank you for your replies.

Can someone tell me approximate length of time to tender from ship to shore in Belize? Someone told my husband it was a 45 minute ride.
-
Yes, it is definitely happening during the holiday gathering in the atrium.

Joe817 is correct!!!

Read Jamman's review of his B2B cruises on Sunrise (page 2 of Carnival message board). His wife always takes great pictures of the entire ship.

I guess it's too early to do that. I just went into cruise manager & was unable to even view any dining options. Lorrie & Dave sailing with you! My 60th (Lorrie).

I love Pride & will miss her. I sailed on Legend quite a few years ago & will be anxious to book another!

We're doing our first Chef's Table over our Christmas cruise this year. We've dined in several of the steakhouses across the fleet and have always had an INCREDIBLE meal.

Guy's Pig & Anchor 11:30-2:30, Cucina del Capitano (complimentary @ lunchtime) 11:30-2:30, Blue Iguana Cantina (great tacos, burritos, taco salads) 11:30-Safety Briefing, Tandoor 11:30-Safety Briefing, Guy's Burgers 11:30-6, and of course, lido buffet.

I just checked my Fun Times for sea days on Breeze & pools are open from 8 a.m. to midnight. Waterworks is open from 9 a.m. to sunset.

I've got reservations for the Chef's Table and am asking about the open-toed shoe requirement for ladies. I didn't plan to bring anything other than sandals; nothing closed. Is this a policy for food safety/hygiene? I wanted to wear a dress, but I guess I can wear slacks and flats if I must.

Best bar on Carnival ships! I have to avoid acidic cocktails & they never fail to create different, delicious drinks for me!

Thank you.

Is it possible to use a small bluetooth speaker on the ship if you have wifi? I'd like to assist with the non-denominational Christmas Day service & include a hymn or two.

Keep the aft!!!! We LOVE aft balconies & book them 9 out of 10 times! Sailing on Breeze this Christmas as a spur of the moment cruise & am disappointed we'll have a "regular" balcony. Go for it!!!

We booked a cabana on HMC as the 2 husbands in our group of 4 were celebrating their 70th birthdays. We LOVED having the cabana, but found that we were rarely in it! We were in the water the entire time! It was great to have the blue float mats. We ate NOTHING and therefore, it was all left behind. We did drink a few bottles of water and soda, but gave the rest of the beverages to the crew. Think positive. Think of it being a beautiful, warm, sunny day. Would your husband like to just hang on a lounge at the cabana or would he be happier in the water& napping on one of the free public offered lounge chairs? Now, if you're concerned about rain in February, you would have shelter from the rain, but the experience would not be worth $360.

Love Pride. Sailed her 2X, 3rd next year. Nice size ship, easy to navigate. Affordable parking. Easy 3 hour drive for us. We are from Central NJ and have sailed out of Florida several times, Galveston, New Orleans a few times, New York a few times. Of all home ports, New York had the rudest group of people to deal with on a ship all week. I wish we didn't have such a bad reputation, but some folks just make that happen.

Hey, Jeff. Enjoying another great review! Having had to cancel Bermuda saddened us & look at what we missed out on!!! But, we're booked on Breeze for Christmas out of Port Canaveral. Say hello to Patti for me & let's hope the Yankees play much better tonight!!!!

Hi. We sailed on Breeze Aug 2018. I definitely did not see a Seafood Shack onboard. Is it a new add? An article dated Nov 2018 indicates there is a SS on Breeze. Can recent Breeze cruisers clear this up for me? Thank you.

Nicole721, now that months & months have flown by, have you given more thought to the June 2020 TA from Barcelona to NYC? I'm asking because I'm booked on this Radiance TA & would absolutely love to meet you, Stephanie, and Mom!!! Your reviews have helped me decide (against my husband's wishes) that I must ABSOLUTELY visit Montserrat. We will have nearly 3 full days in Barcelona before we embark on June 11th.

Jimbo5544, hello! My husband & I are sailing with Jamman (Jeff & Patti) on Sunrise, 9/16 and we're sailing with YOU on the TA next June! Looking forward to meeting you as I'm a big fan of your wonderful, detailed reviews and thanks for that!

Our transatlantic from Barcelona to NYC is now a Journeys cruise, June 11th. We were on just one prior Journeys cruise & enjoyed the additional activities & throwback events. We were surprised, however, to find that the horse races were cash only. We showed up with sign & sail card only and weren't able to participate.
