It would be interesting to know if the CEO of Silversea supported the decision to change the NOVA itinerary.  I suspect the order came from above and Silversea management have to “tow the line”

Hi there. I get the impression that boarding formalities are now, understandably, taking a lot longer at present.  We are boarding the Silver Muse in Melbourne next month and as we live in Melbourne we are very flexible in our arrival time at the port.  I know the official boarding time is 2-4 however I prefer to miss the “rush hour”.  I understand a coach will bring guests from the pre-cruise hotel and this can lead to long wait times.  I would be Interested in guests recent experiences in this regard.

G’day, we are also on this cruise through to Cairns. We have cruised the NZ sector on the Muse before however as we live in Melbourne it was a welcome chance to use the SS credit from previous cancellations. 

Just turned on my iPad and was surprised to pick up a Telstra signal with my Aussie sim notwithstanding that we are halfway the east coast of Tassy transiting from Hobart to Burnie. Excellent coverage.

Incidentally, for future reference cruise guests visiting Hobart visitors should consider a visit to MONA (museum of old and new art) . It is the main attraction for Aussies coming to Hobart from the mainland. It can be confronting, and you either love it or hate it. But it is a "must see" . For some reason MONA does not rate much of a mention on the ship even though it is a major attraction in Hobart.
