Thanks for mentioning the noro. We have all been keeping up to date with the forum for this sailing, as well as info posted by people on the current cruise. They are doing a deep cleaning before we board. At first Celebrity notified all that check-in and boarding was delayed from 11 AM to 2PM. Last night they advised that this is now delayed until 5 PM, with no access to the terminal until 5 PM. Delay of a few hours is worth it to avoid getting sick.

Anyone out there boarding the Summit tomorrow?

Havana, One more thank you for the fantastic experience you provided to all of us following your posts. I can't believe that two weeks have past since I started to follow you. Tomorrow you leave the Summit :( and I will board :), although a bit latter than planned :(. Anticipation is part of a vacation's enjoyment, and you have been a big part of that for me. Also, the info in your posts helped me in planning what to do at some ports and some of the things to do aboard Summit.

Thanks for doing this live post. I’ll be getting on Summit as you get off on Oct 5. As soon as I saw the title of your first post and read your comment about liking a cigar while listening to Jimmy, I knew we were kindred spirits. In fact, I am sitting on my porch in Ocean City, NJ, smoking a cigar and listening to Jimmy right now. I will be waiting with baited breath to read each of your posts. Your pics of NY are great. I can certainly empathize with your emotional comments, especially since I lost fellow workers/patriots at the Pentagon. It is very nice of you to put the time and effort into these live posts. I am sure they will be very interesting and helpful to those of us who will be following you onto the Summit. Now that you are aboard, I hope you are completely relaxed and will enjoy every moment.

Thanks for the response. I am scheduled for the late seating and specifically requested a large table with other solo travelers. Hopefully this gets done, but will check at main dining room when get on ship to see where I am seating and requested a change if needed.

Hi. My name is Ron and I am going solo on Celebrity Summit to Canada this October. This will be my seventh cruise, but first without my DW. Anyone else on this Cruise? Also, does Celebrity usually have any solo/single functions?
