  1. Our trip went from 5 days to 2 days. So I opted to getting the credit. The taxes & port charges went back to my credit card.

When I booked another cruise with the credit, the trip was cheaper than the price I paid/ credit amount. Carnival does not apply the difference to the taxes. So I had to forfeit the amount left over.

  2. Now we have a cruise on Carnival, Monday 9/2/19,

Carnival has stated that "There is a possibility that Carnival Elation and Carnival Liberty may not be able to return to Port Canaveral on Monday. If the port is closed, the ships will be in position to dock as soon as the authorities have reopened the port."

So if this happens what happen to the schedule cruise for Monday? Any one ever had that happened?

  3. So I purchased two rooms on the majesty leaving in September. The price drop over $200. So I called customer service and they upgraded my room. But there was still a balance that they said could not be returned or credit. Ok I get it even though a credit would mean I would spend on board but ok. So I asked if the could at least give me a soda package for my rooms or comp gratuity for a room. I was polite when I asked, they turned me down. I asked for a supervisor and he turned me down. I almost felt like he didn't care to hear what I had to say. I'm a bit disappointed with their decision. This is my first cruise with Royal. Was I wrong to ask? Should I ask again or let it go?

  4. We got the offer this week for a Grand Suite for 390.00. I took it, Our balcony was 639 per person and the suite was 1029.00 per person if we would have paid the going rates for it. A savings of 780, to me it made sense to try out our first suite.

Awesome deal. I actually received the upsell call as well. I originally booked an inside cabin for 5 people. So when they called I couldn't say "yes" fast enough- saved $750. It was worth it for the size of my family. Plus we were in the room more since we had the space.

    Have a great trip!

  5. We are a family of 5 with the youngest being 17 months and oldest 13y, decided to do our first family cruise. We decided to go with Carnival. I purchased a interior room for the low cost, but I just got a call from the upsell fairy :D and we upgraded to a grand suite. So excited to see their faces when we go.
