The dry dock will bring a ton of new stuff to the Pride. There are a couple of other threads on this already, so I won't elaborate.
The food was good. We ate everywhere. Main dining room for dinner, sea day brunch, buffets, ice cream, room service...we tried it all and it was great!
The activities were definitely lacking. They did a murder mystery, comedy shows, battle of the sexes, bingo, etc... They had "sales" in the shops, ran spa specials, and did some casino giveaways.
I agree, the cruise director wasn't great. I never saw him out and about. Only at shows and on tv.
I wish they played movie(s). They do this continuous 24 loop of one movie. After I've partied all day and half the night, I want to curl up and watch a couple of movies before I fall asleep.
The kiddie pool was closed, which was fine with me. The hot tub wasn't hot though. I thought that was strange. We literally got in and then got out, it was so cold. They need more seating in the serenity deck, and I feel like it should be open late. It closed early and they kept weird hours.
All I can think of for now!! :)

They don't really check. With people in and out of the water, on the beach laying out, and in the villa, they don't know (or really care). :)

I can't wait to see the 2.0 upgrades! We go back September 2015!

I booked yesterday online. How do I get a PVP? This is my second cruise. I learned the hard way that you can only get price drops if you book thru carnival, so that's what I did this time. This is confusing!

Following! Great info!

What I'd quoted said "if you look good in it". No plus-sized individual looks good in a speedo or string bikini.
Haha! I will sure be wearing my bikini on my cruise in two weeks! In all my plus size glory!
I will, however, spare you my ass-less chaps. Lol! Just kidding, I don't have any ass-less chaps!

Ooooooo I can't wait for more! I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the post of the last day at sea!

Does the chefs table cost extra?

Just off the pride...questions?

We stayed in Baltimore the night before as we drove up from NC. We stayed at the Days Inn Glen Bernie out by the airport. It's an ok place, with 10 day parking and a shuttle. The shuttle situation was a nightmare. The drivers were nice, but they have two rundown vans and the people trying to get to and from the cruise port were hateful! Breaking line, acting like they are entitled to be first one the shuttle before and after the cruise was over. We were waiting to go back to the hotel and everyone would flag down and run to the shuttle so we couldn't get on it. This happened over and over and over to the point where I was ready to rip a woman's hair out of her head. My husband wouldn't let me, so we ended up getting back to the hotel LAST after waiting two hours to finally get a shuttle.
Next cruise, we are going to have to figure something else out, because I can not do that again, and then drive 6 hours home.
