  1. We have booked Delta when using EZ air, but there wasn't any place to enter skymile perks.  However, sometimes after booking we have been able to upgrade.  There were times when the upgrade were available on line, other times had to call.

  2. We just got off the Caribbean Princess on 11/3.  There are limited outlets.  I didn't see any outlets near the bedside lamps.  There are two outlets on the wall by the table/mirror.  And another one behind the TV (long reach).   We have the beds arranged as a queen.  We both use CPAC machines so I had to use a 10 foot extension cord from the table/mirror outlet to the bed and then plug both CPAC cords into it (one had to run under the bed).  I used another short multi plug outlet cord in the outlet behind the TV for charging I Pad/phone.  Good luck.

    Dear Valued Travel Partner,

As we continue to focus on the healthy and safe return to cruising for guests, crew, and the communities we visit, we are working closely with our sister brands at Royal Caribbean Group and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as government authorities around the world toward our shared goal. In order to return in the best way possible, we continue to extend the suspension of certain Celebrity Cruises sailings.

In brief, Celebrity Cruises will be suspending sailings through April 30th, 2021 including the May 1st, 2021 transatlantic cruise on Celebrity Apex. As well, May through October 2021 Europe and transatlantic cruises on Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Constellation will also be suspended.

For your guest's convenience, Future Cruise Credits issued as part of the Global Suspension of Sailing will also now be eligible for redemption by April 30th, 2022 on sailings departing on or before September 30th, 2022.

Guests booked on Celebrity Edge, Constellation and Apex will have the option to take a 125% FCC or 100% Refund, or to rebook any other 2021 Europe sailing and receive $100 OBC per stateroom.

FCCs issued as part of the Cruise with Confidence program will also now be eligible for redemption by April 30th, 2022 on sailings departing on or before September 30th, 2022.

Please see below for further explanation and, as always, we thank you for your partnership and commitment to our shared success as we return to sailing.

    Sincerely,

    Celebrity Cruises

Princess refunded our cruise fare and Princess air in one lump sum.

Our Japan cruise on Diamond Princess was cancelled a short while ago. The cruise credit showed up on our account page within a couple of days, and the incidental charges on our credit cards a few days later. The biggest chunk (our cruise passage and Princess air booking) was mailed by check a couple weeks later.

The refund check came in one of those “tear off the edges” envelopes, and was processed by “Bottom Line,” so don’t throw it away by accident!

    okay, thanks!!!!

  8. That is the way it was when I had casino credit several years ago. However, there have been more recent posts on other threads which say it now is a credit that is on your onboard account.

Is your experience with this a recent one?

I was on the Coral in February 2018. A gift card was in my cabin showing the casino credit. I took it to the casino cage and was given cash.

  9. Yes, the Baja Cantina has food and drinks. I don't believe the cruisers that sat by us paid for the loungers. They walked up and sat down. They bought drinks and food so the wait staff didn't care....When we stayed at other resorts we would always stop by the Baja Cantina for a drink while walking the beach.

The Baja Cantina is just below the blue beach umbrellas in the middle of the map. It is actually the first place on the beach that serves drinks/food. I believe the blue umbrellas is the Office. Then Mango Deck. There is a new place next to Mango Deck, very small with a few tables and chairs. Then Casa Dorada resort, the Sand Bar, Moxitos, ME resort (Nikki beach) - closed due to damage until January, Pueblo Bonito, Pueblo Bonito Rose and Tabascos.

  10. We just returned from 2 weeks in Cabo. Stayed at Cabo Villas right on Medano beach. My wife and sister in law were on the beach everyday and swam everyday. All but a couple of days the water was calm and they had no trouble getting into or out of the sea. Lots of people were swimming. In the roped off area of Baja Cantina there was little interaction with the vendors. Several cruisers were in the area, so no problem as long as buying a few drinks or eating. My brother in law and I walk to Tabascos and Moxitos numerous times. Not a long walk, couple hundred yards to Moxitos and 1/4 mile or so to Tabascos. Once by the Office and Mango Deck, it was real quiet. Tabascos has be rebuilt from the ground up as it was totally destroyed by the huricane. It is very nice. We ate at Baja Cantina and Moxitos and the food was good. During the day, drinks seemed to always be two for one, $5 to $6 for two beers. Margaritas and Miami Vices were around $10 for two. It was real quiet this time of year compared to when we were there during spring break time..... :)

  11. On our last cruise (Star to Hawaii in 3/14) I used two of the Belkin Mini Surge Protectors in our cabin. About half way thru the cruise we were visited by a couple of crew members from the Engineering department. They said they were having an electric issue and wanted to look in our room. Another crew member was using some kind of testing equipment in a nearby electrical panel. He came into our cabin and went right to the two Belkins (one behind the TV and the other on the desk top}. He said that the Belkins were causing a problem and asked that we not use them. He said that he would bring us a power strip, which he did. This is the first time that this has happened. We have used the Belkin on numerous other cruises without a problem. Except for this time, in which we used two of the units. We use the extra outlets for I-Phone, I-Pads, hair dryer and curling iron. Next time I’ll only take one. :)

  12. Those are the "recommended" check-in times and this has been the case for quite a while to help stagger people arriving to check in. It's usually thinned out after 12:30pm.

FLL is different from LA in that in LA, Elite board first. Don't think that's true in FLL where anyone with Priority boarding boards first. I think LA is the only port where Elite get priority over Platinum. At least it's the only port I've either experienced it or heard of it.

If the ship sails at 4pm, the check-in reps start leaving at about 3pm. You don't want to arrive any later than 3pm as you may be denied boarding. Whenever I've done a BVE and gone back out into the terminal at about 3:15, it's a ghost town with most of the reps and Security gone.

Hi Pam. We were pleasantly surprised on our 1/25/14 Crown cruise out of FLL. There was a separate waiting room upstairs for Elite and full Suite passengers. They let us board about 11:50. This is the first time that I have seen a separate waiting area for Elite/Suite at FLL.

    Mike
