We got a call from the upsell wizard on Monday for our upcoming Vista cruise starting Saturday. Went from an interior room on deck 7 to Spa balcony on deck 12 for $350. I had been looking at upgrading to a balcony about a few weeks ago and it would be $1000!

This is our second time we got an upsell offer. The last one came for a cruise we booked an interior room after cruising in in balcony. Seems interesting that both time we got the call we had interior rooms booked after having balconies on the previous cruise.

For anyone recently on the Vista, did you go to the Piano Bar? if so, what did you think. We had a great time in the Piano Bar on the Sunshine and was hoping the Vista's piano player was just as much fun.

We were on the Sunshine in December and they had all the apps you asked about. The Alligator Fritters were more fritter than gator. The frog legs were OUTSTANDING.

We did an 8 day on the Miracle a few years back and loved it. The ship did not go through the canal, but we were able to take an excursion that included transit through one of the locks. If the ship does a partial transit, I would do that again in a heartbeat, but wouldn't go to Panama again just to go through the locks. Loved the Miracle, had an aft extended balcony.

We will be on the Miracle again in December 2017 going to Hawaii.

We will be on the Sunshine in December and looking at the Carnival website, I can get a Cloud 9 balcony for about $200 more total. I've never had a spa balcony and am wondering what the benefits of the Spa package are? And since there are 10+ of these cabins available, maybe I get an upsell call from Carnival??

We had an aft balcony on the Miracle and loved it. I tried to get one on our upcoming Sunshine, but they were sold out. It was a little hot out there when we were sailing back and had the afternoon sun, but never too hot to enjoy the balcony. I would take another one in a heartbeat.

Besides being longer than 7 days, what is different about Journey's cruises? We have an 8 and 15 day booked.

We rented a golf cart and just cruised the Island for a couple of hours. It was very interesting. You can find info on the golf carts on the Port of call board.

Spring break = lots of families, which in my two spring break trip experiences meant less partiers. My kids, 8 and 18, 12 and 20 when they went, loved it. Lots of other people their ages and both fully utilized Camp Carnival/Club 02. The 20 yr old didn't have those choices on our second cruise.
