We’re in a bit of a cruising drought these days not having been on one since pre-pandemic. No withdrawal symptoms fortunately but definitely looking forward to sipping a few drinks at the bar, non alcoholic ones since I quit drinking some time ago.🥃🍺😳

Does anyone know what non alcoholic beers they have? Please tell me that they have something other than O’Douls🤮

  2. I got one classic alcohol package and one non alcoholic package for my cabin

Just called and asked for the non alcoholic package because my doctor said to quit drinking alcohol

No problem and though I offered to bring proof was told that it was not necessary

Word of caution on the non-alcoholic beers.  I tried this(after my doctor said to abstain from drinking) for about 3 weeks and I was soon again drinking beer and other things with alcohol in it.  My own experience tells me that this was not the answer for me.  Just wanted to share my experience with you. Have a great trip!

I’m almost 100 days and going to a group once a week and so far I haven’t missed the real thing.  Hopefully it’s for me

    Good day

I saw this headline in the Washington Post.

“More travelers are ‘dry-tripping.’ Airlines and hotels have noticed.”

    It should have read:

More travelers are ‘dry-tripping.’ Airlines, cruise linesand hotels have noticed.”

I recently quit alcohol on doctors orders and discovered a new generation of non alcoholic beers which are a huge improvement over non alcoholic ones of the past.

What beers are really good? Examples include Heineken 0.0, Corona 0.0%, Guinness Draught 0.0 and Peroni 0.0 all of which are fantastic.

I loved sitting at the ship bars and attending activities like the “Silent Disco” sipping on a cold beer and want to continue but with quality zero proof beverages.

Celebrity can both capitalize on this trend as well as better serve their loyal customers by being a market leader and offer a selection of booze free beverage offerings.

My next Celebrity cruise is May 11th, 2024, booking #72xxxxx on the Eclipse going to Martha’s Vineyard and Bermuda and would love to enjoy a quality beer, just one without alcohol.

Yes, it seems that Celebrity still considers non-alcoholic beers as beers.  It seems there is a very slight amount of alcohol in them.  Tis not to reason why ....

The ones I drink are truly zero alcohol

Examples include Heineken 0.0, Corona 0.0%, Guinness Draught 0.0 and Peroni 0.0 all of which are good

Do they still have that rule that everyone in the cabin must buy the same package. I just tried to buy the non alcoholic package but it doesn’t seem to let just me get it. My wife wants the regular package

Can she upgrade it once aboard?

And Princess calculates your drinking day as 6 AM to the next 6 AM.

Like the old saying goes: “You can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning “ 😎

It is my understanding that if you and your wife are on one of the drink packages you will need both medallions, or her drink will count against your daily drink allotment. If that does not matter, then one medallion is fine.

There’s a daily limit on drinks? 🤪 What’s the limit?

  8. Does the Shareholders benefit still exist on Princess? You know, if you own a minimum of 100 shares of Carnival stock you can get a cabin credit.

If it still exists does anyone have a link to the site to apply for it

This year we did a land trip to England 14 nights with carry-on luggage only. On BA we could have checked 3 bags free each at 70 lbs. The main reason we did this was LHR was having baggage issues earlier this year. We also did a 7 night Alaska cruise with carry-on only.

Have travelled with carry-on for years (and we fly business class most of the time)

I like the way the turn down / morning service is now and hopefully it’ll stay
