My DH and I were wondering the same thing, what a great question :D

We just returned from the Med on Nieuw Amsterdam. BB King's plays in the Queens Lounge, 2 - 3 shows per night 8:45, 9:45 and 10:45pm. Each show being 45 min in length, so that would put the last show ending at 11:30pm. I would think those cabins would hear the noise from the show.

We are cruising with Katie333, and the event is in Taormina, our travel agent has confirmed this with us. She says it is in the afternoon but not sure what the free tour will be, guess we will find out when we board the ship. :D

We are sailing on the Golden Princess S. America cruise departing Feb 14 2015, it is the 14 day Cape Horn and Strait of Magellan cruise and we have not been notified that the Ruby will be replacing the Golden. Do you think they will be having the Ruby take over doing our cruise??

I just called Princess and they checked with their dispatch dept and did confirm that the Ruby Princess is being replaced by the Caribbean Princess as of Jan 31 2015. He said this just happened in the last day or so, so their computers are not even updated yet with the Caribbean Princess itineraries to let us know if that will stay the same, and if we will be moved to the same cabin etc. He said to call back on Monday when their computers update to reflect this new ship.

I always let the bank do the conversion.

I work for TD Visa and we charge a 2.5% conversion fee plus the foreign exchange difference in the dollar, but it still is better than what the cruise line charges.

Sorry a couple more questions about the hotel. So did you end up waiting for Princess to book you the extra night or did you just go ahead and book it yourself?

Also if we are arriving in Lima a day early how does that work for airport transfer to the hotel, do they arrange to pick you up at the airport early and drop you off at the hotel, or do we now have to do this on our own since we are flying on Saturday instead of the Sunday like Princess recommends?

We are doing this same cruise tour with Princess next year. Do you remember the name of the hotel Princess uses in Lima Peru, we start our tour there and were thinking of flying down a day early and adding an extra night at the hotel, but our itinerary just says "stay overnight at a Lima Hotel"

I faxed mine over 2 weeks ago for a July cruise too and have heard nothing. I finally called Princess and they said it has been applied to my booking, but still have not received an email. I even wrote right on the form, please confirm request has been fulfilled via email, and still did not hear from them.

I am looking at Ocean Suites on Deck 6, possibly 6157 and 6163, just wondering if this row of ocean suites on this deck, are the balconies fully covered or not? Does anyone know? I am specifically looking at The Carnival Spirit. Thanks
