  1. From our experience seacruise9 is correct regarding positioning over the stage. We were in the furthest aft port side mini suite (E728, equivalent to Crown E730) on the Grand. While we did not ever experience any noticeable noise throughout the day or at night while in the room, we did hear the music from the Zumba class every morning.

  2. Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but, here it goes. I am debating between 2 itineraries(both on the crown princess out of ft. Lauderdale, both in the fall). I would like to get people’s thoughts on which they would choose, and why.

1:Bahamas, st.thomas, Dominica, Grenada, Bonaire, Aruba.

    2: Bahamas, st.thomas, st.kitts, st.lucia, Barbados, Antigua

  3. Thank you! Interested in learning more about the medevac part, I've got research to do! Our health insurance should cover medical outside of the US

I have also just begun researching this issue. I don't know who your health insurance is through, but you may want to get clarification. I was told by a representative of member services at my insurance (Kaiser), that they cover emergency medical expenses out of the country. While this is true, the Kaiser Permanente Emergency and urgent care away from home pamphlet clarifies:

"Kaiser Permanente generally doesn’t pay providers outside the United States directly. If you get emergency or urgent care, you’ll need to pay the bill yourself. Then you’ll have to submit a claim for reimbursement when you get home. In many countries, providers require payment before giving care. Costs can be high, so be ready to cover any unexpected costs. You may want to get extra travel insurance for your trip."

"Kaiser Permanente covers emergency medical transportation to get you to the nearest hospital, or another facility if we decide it’s necessary. However, we can’t arrange this transportation for you during an emergency. You’ll need to work with emergency transportation providers wherever you are. We generally don’t cover or arrange other transportation, unless we decide it’s needed to manage your care. In order to lessen your potential financial liability for non-covered travel-related services, you may want to consider getting extra travel insurance to cover services that aren’t covered by your Kaiser Permanente plan."

  4. Good morning all. Just wondering if any of you know the difference between 2 of the carnival excursions in Belize - "darknight cave tubing adventure with lunch" and "Belize cave tubing with lunch." I understand that darknight is the name of the company that provides the tour on the first. Just wondering about the differences, if any, in things like where they go, time in river, walking time, carry your own tubes, food, etc.

  5. We are sailing sept 11 2016 on the breeze out of Galveston. My brother in law is going to sail for sure, but he does not know for sure who will be accompanying him. I'm pretty sure if he books a cabin for two he has to provide the information for both passengers. What is the best way to proceed? (including which fare code)

1.have him book solo and add the other person when he knows for sure who it will be? (And if the fare rises would they both pay the increased fare?)

    2. Book for two and provide the information for one of the possible travelers, and change travelers later if necessary?

    Or any other suggestions?

  6. Please help! I am considering upgrading from a balcony cabin to a suite, but the suites available are either forward (I'm hesitant due to motion sickness, although I never cruise without the patch) or across from the elevators. In general is near the elevators usually a noisy area by nature?
