we are on the Jade and heard a “code alpha” last night. Anyone know what’s going on? I know it’s a medical emergency or death. It was on our floor and that section was closed off for a long time.

I took a muscle relaxer and it happened to me. I was so embarrassed.

I think it's just you. I have to keep telling them to make mine weaker. I usually end up getting a glass of diet pepsi on the side so I can dilute them myself - I drink Crown Royal and diet pepsi. :cool:

When I booked the Breakaway last year for Sep 25, 2016 for myself and 3 girlfriends, the promo was 2 of us were free and we got 2 "free" UBP. We were charged $68.04 for the first 2 people for the beverage sur charge. I was wondering how that works since I thought EVERYONE in the same cabin HAD to purchase a beverage package? Is it different since it was a promo?

It's probably because there are a lot of threads about the cabanas on Labadee. I just didn't have time to go through them all. I'm trying to plan ALL the shore excursions for myself, my sister and my daughter for a 12 day cruise. It's their first cruise and I want it to go well. I'm driving myself bonkers. :eek:

I'm sorry if this has been asked already. Can I only book a cabana through Royal Caribbean? I'm sailing on the Anthem in January and the website keeps saying I have to book when onboard.

It's my first cruise on RCCL AND my first balcony, so I am excited. It's my sister and my daughter's very first cruise so I worry they won't be happy. They aren't used to the fact that most cruise ship cabins are small unless you spend a lot of money.

Any dining advice?

When Quantum sailed into NY, we were all on desk early. Champagne, New York State of Mind blasting out, helicopters film our arrival, special permission to sail past Statue of Liberty. It was incredible.

We just booked the County Inn as well for our8/14/16 cruise on the Summit. I got some mixed info on the r/t shuttle they do to/from the port. One person said they do hotel to ship at a choice of 10am or noon and the the return is ship to hotel where we then have to get on their airport shuttle to the airport...yet another person told me the same info for to the ship but said on the return it does ship to airport. Guess I will find out when I get there and go from there unless someone who has used the r/t shuttle from CI can let me know their expierence. :confused:

I was wondering the same thing. My daughter, sister, and I are staying at the Country Inn the day before we sail on the Anthem of the Seas 1/3/16. Hope someone chimes in with some info.

I have coverage through my husband's work and it's awful. Doesn't cover a single thing until we meet the deductible which never happens.

I am buying trip ins because I know my primary ins won't kick in until we spend a few thousand more and then it resets in Dec.

My question is : Does it matter if the trip insurance says the medical is primary or secondary if my health ins won't cover anything?

Also, does any trip ins cover the ship breaking down or anything like that?

Me too!! Worst pain in my life and I gave birth 6 times without medication! I'm learning to scuba and plan on always wearing a full wetsuit.

Now that's pretty funny! I have no idea about sailing and vessels, so only thing I could picture is no propulsion means can't move forward, so we be stuck in the middle of the ocean forever....OK, a bit extreme I know :p

WOW! The OP is NOT asking about what time to be back on board. The OP is essentially asking if the ship matches the local time. And I fully expect NCL to match the local time.

I am trying to figure out what time I will be in Roatan. The NCL website says the Star will be in Roatan November 3, 2015 from 11 - 7. Do they take into account daylight savings time ? I'm trying to set up a dive time with a dive shop and they need to know when we will be in port Roatan time. I'm doing 2 of my 4 Open Water dives if we have enough time.

as long as you are all young and do not mind a small space and one bunk bed, you should be fine. You might be able to upgrade to a balcony guarantee for a little more prior to the cruise. Enjoy !

My friends and I just went on our first cruise Oct 26-Nov2 on NCL's Sun. We had a great time and decided to go again. We chose Carnival because of that 35 hour sale. We are going on the Conquest Feb 7 - 15. I got a guaranteed interior for all 3 of us $1141 total. But now I'm really afraid of how we will all fit. Are there 2 twin beds and a couch or do two of us have to sleep on a twin bed together? Yikes!

My 3 friends and I were just on NCL Sun, Oct 26 - Nov 2. There was a singles group aboard and my friend Cyndi really liked one of the guys we kept bumping into. Unfortunately she didn't get up enough nerve to exchange contact info until our last night but we never found him. I know this is a long shot, but I figured I'd give it a try for her. Hope someone can help. Thanks!
